Theresa walked out of a dark portal, appearing behind the battling Aquans. She frowned upon seeing the Shadow Pokémon. "So they've finally done it..."

Maddy stopped in her tracks as she heard some noises way up the hallway. "We have intruders? Why didn't the alarm sound?" She looked at the red button on the wall next to her. She shrugged. "I'll deal with it meself..." She continued walking, but this time at a slower pace. She didn't want to rush herself.

The Peon gritted his teeth as he sent out a Larvitar. Ginji snorted with laughter. "This is your idea of a battle?" he asked as the Larvitar began to evolve into Pupitar. "That's more like it." he said, becoming more serious. He picked up a familliar Pokeball that housed Graveler. Pupitar started off with an Earthquake that did really good damage, but was returned back to it when Graveler used Earthquake as well. A flam was lit under Pupitar's body as it rocketed with a Dark Pulse at Graveler who rushed at Pupitar with a Stone Edge. The clash ended up knocking both Pokemon out.

Next up was Porygon versus the Peon's Murkrow. What a random team this guy had. Porygon fired first with a Tri Attack as its Download raised its Special Attack. The atatck was devestating, but the Murkrow didn't go down, it started pecking at Porygon's hard body before the cyberspace Pokemon launched a Zap Cannon, amazingly hitting and knocking out the foe.

The Peon scoffed as he sent out his last Pokemon, a Shelgon. Ginji sighed as he sent out Aggron, the juggernaut. Shelgon started with a Flamethrower, doing decent damage to the steel type. Agrron roared as it looked down at the miniature stature of the attacker before jumping up and down on the floor causing an Earthquake. Shelgon was taken back as it started to glow with a purple light as it used Dragon Claw on the protected Pokemon.

Aggron roared again, not caring about noise pollution, it rushed right back at Shelgon with a Dragon Rush, KOing the Pokemon and ending the battle. The Peon sank to his knees as he returned his final Pokemon as he too was KO'd by the attack.

"Now. Where could Maddy be?" Ginji asked as Luxray burst out of its Pokeball, this time it was a complete shadow Pokemon, and it looked like it wanted to go on a rampage. "We really need to make new Pokeballs so this doesn't happen at HQ..." Ginji sighed as he got Luxray's attention with some Pokefood before returning the beast to its ball.

It popped out again. "Dammit." Ginji sighed as he tossed out his final Pokeball. Dragonite appeared in the room as Luxray attacked with a Shadow Fang, spreading the virus again. Dragonite roared before attacking with an Earthquake, knocking out Luxray in one shot. Ginji quickly returned both Pokemon to their ball. "We should get out of here before this gets out of hand, let's find Maddy quickly."



He then turned to Cody. "Try not to touch it, it has a possibility of burning you. When we get back, I'm developing a ball to contain Shadow Pokemon so things like this don't happen." he said, referring to Luxray, Darkrai, Marowak and now even more Pokemon. "Then we'll be able to purify them." he promised, hoping it would be that simple. "Somehow..."

Maddy emerged out of the shadows, her hair obscuring her left eye from view. Her left hand was hidden in her pocket. She smirked as she looked at 3 of her former friends and her former leader who stood behind them. "What are you doing here?"

Theresa gasped and took a few steps back. What she seen horrified her. Before her was the usual dark purple aura of Maddy. But the left half of her body has a bright purple aura surging through it, the Shadow Virus. And her right half had an icy blue aura going through it, which must've been the medallion. Theresa covered her eyes, even though they were already concealed by the strip of silk tied around her head, blocking the sight from view. She couldn't bare to look. "It's worse then I thought. We have to get her back and quick. We don't have much time."

"Gotcha," Cody replied with a nod. A peon quickly approached him and sent out his first pokemon, a Weavile. The pokemon snickered as Cody sent out Feraligatr. Weavile attacked first with Shadow Ball, doing an ok amount of damage and knocking Feraligatr back a few steps. His Special Defense was lowered. The angered pokemon returned with an Aqua Tail, nailing the smaller Weavile and sending it flying. It kicked off a wall and came back with Night Slash. Feraligatr painfully roared and used Brick Break to knock the Weavile out.

The peon grunted, but said nothing as he sent out his second pokemon, a Vileplume. Cody returned Feraligetr and sent out Flygon who stretched its wings and roared. He attacked with Flamethrower, doing a reasonable amount of damage to Vileplume and causing a small burn on one of its petals. Vileplume came back with Poisonpowder, but Cody reached in his bag and threw Flygon a Pecha Berry to heal its poison immeditately. Vileplume used Aromatherapy to heal its burn, but another Flamethrower put the Grass Type of its misery.

Finally, the third pokemon, a Pupitar. Cody hardly had enough force left to take out this pokemon. Weavile had taken its toll on Feraligatr, but he still had Chiki. Cody threw a pokeball and Bayleef popped out again. She sent out a Magical Leaf, hitting the Pupitar hard. The pokemon responded with Dark Pulse, doing ok damage to Bayleef. Chiki responded with another Magical Leaf to almost end the battle. Pupitar got off another Dark Pulse before Bayleef ended the battle with a simple Razor Leaf.

"Could we use your Masterball?" Cody chuckled as he stood beside Brian. "This could be interesting."

Ginji thought about his options as he looked at the flame. He could absorb Maddy's powers...but then he'd risk losing himself to them. He just had to be limited psychically didn't he? He laughed nervously as he looked to the others. "Any ideas?"
