Cody randomly appeared inside the Kyogre jet with his teammates. "Sorry I'm late."

"Hmm." Ike thought, looking at the map. She had pointed to a location that was about 20 miles south west of Mt. Battle. Right-dab in the middle of nowhere. He wasn't surprised.
Soon the Kyogre Jet docked in Gateon Port and Ike opened the hatch. Outside the sun shined brightly as the air was awfully dry to be right next to the ocean.
"Fly the rest of the way?" he asked everyone. Obviously they couldn't drive a submarine through the middle of a desert.

"I don't know about you, but I don't plan on coming back here for a vacation." Ike joked, calling out Lugia. "Mind a bit of flying?" he asked the guardian. Lugia didn't mind and leaned down for any riders. Ike hoped on. "Anyone else need a ride?" he asked.

Kiara got out of the jet as well, smiling slightly in the familiarity of Gateon Port. As soon as Ike mentioned flying, she pulled out another pokeball and clicked the button, releasing Sylar, her small but powerful scyther, and waited.

Ginji and Charizard flapped into the sky. It was awkward flying for the first time, but Charizard finally earned its wings as then fell behind Ike and Lugia as the team rose to the sky. "Off to see the wizard." he mumbled as sweat formed on his brow. Stupid heat.

Suddenly Lugia came to an abrupt hault over the barren desert. Nothing but desert could be seen from horizon to horizon. Ike began to wonder why they had stopped.
"What is it?" Ike asked, trying to look for some sign of danger or something.
"They're right below us." said Lugia, looking straight down. Ike didn't think to look there and when he did, he could see what looked like a huge landing pad for helicopters with barbed wire fence surrounding it. No guards seemed to be on post.
"I guess we land here then." said Ike. Lugia began his descent and soon landed on the dry, cracked concrete that was this strange landing pad.

Maddy yawned as she sat up in her bed. There was a sharp knock at the door. "I was asleep. What do you want?" Her voice was colder than usual.
Ilyana opened the door and peered in at her.
Maddy covered her eyes and blinked a couple times as light flooded in through the doorway. "Here to check up on me? I'm fine! Go away! And shut that door!"
Ilyana frowned and just left. Josec and Dante had left it to her to check up on their leader from time to time. She appeared to be just fine, despite what the head scientist had said.
Maddy sighed and climbed out of bed. "Might as well go for a walk..." She hastily pulled a black cloak on and walked out of her room. Her jet-black hair fell in front of her left eye, hiding it from view. Also, her entire left hand was bandaged up so nothing of it was visible. There was something strange about it. She glared at anyone who happened to pass her in the hallways.

Ike strayed away from Lugia and Theresa to look around the pad. With no one but them, Ike knew he couldn't rescue Maddy, Celebi, and Shaymin. He sighed as he looked down at the concrete all covered with small pebbles here and there. He picked up a relatively larger one and gave it a toss out to nowhere.
"It has to be underground." he told himself as Lugia came marching ahead, stopping behind Ike.
"This could open up." suggested Lugia.
"Oh, you mean like a missile silo or something?" asked Ike. That was a good guess, but Ike couldn't really see a groove in the concrete that would allow it to open up. "Hmm..." he said, continuing his pacing in circles.
