Lishkra felt an odd sense of doom, but it wasn't until he looked in the sky before he knew what it was. "Look up Vadim!" Lishkra said grabbing Vadim and shaking him "Look up!"

Vadim brushed Lishkra away, slightly startled at Lishkra's sudden outburst. He looked up, calmly, "Now what is it you're babbling on about?" he asked as he did so.
((What exactly is he supposed to see?))

((Lol what Shade and the others were talking about. There's nothing in the sky, no moons, suns, or stars. There is light though.))
"Don't you see! There's nothing! I'd be worried if I were you, the world is getting worse." There's something more at work here. I doubt this Twilight is powerful enough to be responsible for this.

((Okay, that's what I thought, lol.))
"I see." he said, "This is very peculiar, I'll have to make a note of this." he once again removed the book from the crook of his arm and opened it, flipping through the pages as he walked until he reached the one he was looking for. He traced his finger along a blank spot in the book and letters followed.

I wonder if he cares? Lishkra was gloomy. He knew if there was no sun, or life giving moon, which he knew had to be the case before, since plants here still flourished with only a moon. Now every plant would die and that would make the animals die, then the people. I wonder if she foresaw this, and that's why she sent me here.
Lishkra's thought's were despairing. No, she needs those artifacts. She's just as afraid as me. Lishkra smiled wickedly, not hiding it.

Vadim finished writing and closed the book. He looked to find Lishkra smiling, "What are you smiling about?" he asked.

Lishkra turned to him still smiling "The fear of a god!" Lishkra laughed insanely, most would say. He wasn't insane, not even close, but this was the most amusing thing he'd ever laughed at. I hope I die with this world, then she'll never get her precious artifacts. I might even see Michelle in death...

Vadim stared at Lishkra for a moment longer, "I see..." he said, He just gets more and more interesting. he thought, amused.

Lishkra stopped to catch his breath. He was calm now. He grabbed a middle aged man and asked for directions to an inn "Just up that hill and around the corner, it's called the pig trough, you can't miss it." Lishkra thanked the man and led Vadim to the inn.

Lishkra smiled sardonically "It does, doesn't it?" He opened the door and went inside. He spotted the inn keeper immediatly; he was the man that was a fat pig of a man with a apron that looked like it was made of grease. Lishkra walked over to the pig man "do you have a room?" The pig man grunted "yeah, if you got the money."
Lishkra turned to Vadim "pay the man..., I don't have any money." What kind of currancy do they use here?

Vadim eyed Lishkra and then the pig man, I see where it got it's name. he thought, amused. "How much is a room?" he asked, "Money isn't usually something I carry with me..." he mumbled to himself.
((What kind of currency do they use?))

((Wow, you'd think Shade would've mentioned it...Crap! Well we'll earn our room with chores I guess... gonk Make us skip ahead to when we're in our room.))
Lishkra turned back to the proprietor and shrugged "we don't seem to have any money." The pig man frowned "well you can earn your room if you help out with some chores." Lishkra groaned "ugh..., what do we have to do?" Lishkra and Vadim got a dish towel shoved into their hands. The mage turned to Vadim and glared balefully.

((lol, okay))
Vadim shrugged apologetically before getting to work. He mostly just stood or moved slowly, but the dishes he was in charge of seemed to get clean despite that fact. After the chores were done, they received a key to their room. Vadim took the key and found the room, unlocking it.

((Oh, Shade it'd be nice if other rp'ers interacted with us later on. Make it more interesting. You choose when, surprise me)) Lishkra followed Vadim into the room and immediatly went to the bed and dropped on it sound asleep. He was a weak man after all. He couldn't take much in a day.
