It's called FAE (Fuel Air Explosive). Basically two bombs in one.
One bomb sprays a kind of gas over the area, and the other one explodes, igniting the gas. The combination of the two creates an explosion equal to that of a small nuke warhead, but without the radiation. o-o

Yeah. They're kind of big, so they aren't as efficient as a nuclear bomb/missile, but they're a bit more deadly, since they do decent damage without the fallout.
