He walked toward the door slowly, still confused and hurt, then turned around and looked at her. "yeah; you just don't want me around, yeah, that's what it is..." he whispered to himself resentfully, then ran out the door.
Elfir sat perched up on his old roost on the roof of the tavern, remeniscing.
Ah, good times, good times. He could remeber back in the old days when it was just him up here with a cup of coffee, juicing up for a day's "work" (or not; he mostly loafed around); back when everyone was happy. He sighed and smiled, then looked around some more. He also remembered when Mew followed him up here and snuck up on him while he was asleep; but she had been playful, not so tearful back then, it seemed those days were gone...

She shook her head. "No, I do want you here Piyo." She walked out, picking him up mid-run and hugging him. "If you want to sit with me, then you may." Her tails wrapped around his. "Elfir has just upset me."

Piyo squirmed for a second, then gave up, falling limp and glanced back up at Sakura. "Whaddya mean? Is it cuz he didn't want to come in? Did you wake 'im up or something? I tried to tell 'im to come inside, but he likes bein' outside, yeah."

her water form growled slightly. "It was several years that we weren't together. Don't jump to conclusions. During our time apart, I have seen walking dead. No i did not talk with those people, things, or what ever, but if you haven't forgotten, Walking dead have a very distinct scent, and from the scent of Elfir, he isn't dead." she sighed and looked down slightly "I did not insult Myu, I meant that so far every one who has seen him has started to cry. But if you want me to insult her i would, not willingly though." she shook her head when Sakura walked past and then looked at Elfir once more. "no problem." she then disappeared in a splash of water, only to be absorbed by the ground.
She looked at Piyo as he walked to Sakura, then half listened to what they were saying. When he walked out she sighed.

"No, just forget about it okay Piyo?" She carried him back into the kitchen, sitting back down on the counter with him. "Are you hungry?"

"Ermmm.. ok!" The young kistune brightened, never ceasing to have an appetite. He squeezed Sakura with a big hug, then hopped out of her arms and bounced around excitedly, just as Elfir walked in.
He had been getting bored, sitting up there on the roof, and decided to come inside to get a cup of coffee. He glanced at Ooka and arched his brow, then turned around quickly, catching sight of Mew once more, and tried to give her an apologetic look, hoping she'd follow, then went inside.

sakura, seeing Elfir, followed Piyo. She opened a cupboard and handed Piyo a bowl of soup. She walked back out of the kitchen, walking behind the bar. Bowing lightly, she looked at Elfir with a sad stare. "Can I help you?"

She was sitting on the couch and was watching the happenings of the tavern. She was happy Elfir was back, and was hoping things would calm down after a nights sleep. Her hair was hanging in her face, and if it weren't for the little flame shaped ball of water she was playing with, one would think she was asleep. She morphed it into a bird and it flew around her head for a bit, she followed it with her eyes, tilting her head back when it went behind her, only to see Elfir standing near the bar. She turned around in her seat and gave him a slight smile.

Elfir's face softened somewhat, seeing the look on his friend Sakura's face. "Well..." he started, "a smile would help. And maybe some coffee..." he added, sensing the futility of it all. He nodded to Ooka and then asked to no one in particular, "How long's Mew gonna stay out there, anyway? Should I go talk to her or something?"
"Who's Mew?" Piyo piped up, having finished the bowl of soup rather quickly.
"Friend of mine. She's like a panda person or something. Hey, Piyo, would you go get 'er?" Elfir asked, yawning.
"Erm... I guess so... but it's dark out there!!" Piyo whined.
"Then you better go get her before something else does," the merc said gravely. The little kitsune hopped out the door, determined to be back inside as fast as he could.

Sakura, attempted to smile, but couldn't get control over her facial muscles; and was satisfied to running at him and hugging him. "You were dead!....You were like Sheldon....all over again..." she shuddered, letting go of him. "Where did you go?"
Myu; still in the tree, continued to cry silently. 'He didn't love you; he doesn't love you; He will never love you.' She shook her head; a headache forming from crying so much. 'You should have died at Lan or Katie's hand.'

Well, a hug. That was certainly an improvment, indeed. Elfir smiled and then a shadow crossed over his face. "Well... I'd been on the road... we'll say that much for now..." He had indeed been on the road, doing much think and much wandering; fighting as a merc once more to take his mind off the haunted thoughts, yet they still kept returning... He'd tried to forget them, so he wouldn't get set on revenge... but now... things were better... He patted Sakura on her head and softly said, "Sheldon.... did he die in the fight, too? I'm... I'm sorry about him.... I guess that was probably why you've been so sad; I'm not the only friend lost around here, am I?"
Piyo wandered around outside in the dark, calling out, "Mew! Mew! Hey Me- oh forget this; I sound like a stupid cat!" Fuming, he kicked a rock in the dark, grumbling, "Stupid Elfir, sending me out here; there's probably tons of vampires out here *shudder* waiting to kill me... Grrr... Don't even know what this "Mew" looks like..." He stopped under a tree and looked around, then called out once more, "HEY MEW!! IS THERE A MEW OUT HERE?!"

Myu, wiping her eyes, stuck her head out. "Yes?" She saw the small boy beneath the tree. "You called me what Elfir calls me...." Her ears danced for a moment before going through and climbing down several branches.

"Gwah!" the little kitsune cried out, thouroghly startled. "Oh. You're Mew; thought you were a vampire or something at first; they scare me," he said, patting his chest as if to steady his heart rate. "Hiya!! I'm Piyo!! Elfir told me to come get you! I think he wanted ya to come inside, yep!" Piyo nodded vigorously. "I dun wanna be out here either; it's scary! W-what if a vampire comes along?!"
