Flametempest the rhino is attached to the HQ command squad, and i can swap squad leaders on the fly. the chainfists are there to guarantee that vehicles get destroyed. do you think this army is viable for winning games? and what would it be best at? Well I described it as "heavily, HEAVILY rounded" for a reason. I think it has a reasonable chance against any army its up against, but thats it. Its not specializing in anything, just all around.
As for the rhino, why not put the command squad in the land raider so they dont get blown up and then entangled? If youre going to take a land raider, might as well use its transport capacity.
Either way, rounded armies have never been my thing.

(i have tons of replacement marines with different heavy and special weapons)

Me and my friend were having a discussion about if each chapter had a themesong from modern day music what it would be. We decided that the space marines as a whole would use Dream Evil's Chosen Ones. But i need some help with a new song, its called Entombment of a Machine, by Job for a Cowboy. Just search it on youtube if you haven't heard it, and please tell me what chapter you think it belongs too.

This thread is now about Blood Angels. Anyone else notice that teleport homers weren't included ANYWHERE in the codex? I think they're the only marine army that doesn't have them.

Cant say I was paying attention when I read it. It depressed me too much.
If so, then one more reason for a big "meh" from me to them.

It wasn't that horrible. At least you don't have to give up members of your squad to death company now.

[.Psycho.Doughboy.] It wasn't that horrible. At least you don't have to give up members of your squad to death company now. I didnt see that as being a problem in the last version. At the same time Im not so worried now that they dont, either way has its own points fluffwise.

I have to agree, dreadnought are an easy takedown. I always like the look of the furioso and such, but not very practical unless youre dropping in.
Whats insane is their new version of Mephiston (I believe that was the librarians name). Thankfully the blood angel players I know dont like the codex either, and so I dont have to worry about it.

Yeah, it's Mephiston and he' awesome. Who couldn't love a librarian that can use all three psychic powers every turn and swing a master crafted force weapon?

I didn't hear about that. Well you could always proxy him. It shouldn't be too hard to find a terminator with a thunder hammer and storm shield. Just use some greenstuff to make things look pretty.

Well I for one "couldnt love" such a model, and as I said, thankfully neither can the people I know who play BA. But even without the broken character, Id still never pick it up due to the scouts being elites, assault marines being troops (I think), and other odd changes that came with the DA remake, and most likely will come with future marine releases.
