I try to portray my characters as real people who react to situations like a human being would. Since morality isn't a simple construct, people don't always see black and white. Everything is gray. Guy's like Amos and Noah and just trying to do the best they can while knowing they are only human. For all intents and purposes, I could say the same thing about Danny and Matt. Danny appears to more aloof to the dangers that go on in society, but turns a blind eye to and acts amoral to it. Matt is cold and harsh. He's way more anti-hero than anything I've made yet. These are observations I've made. Not criticizing or at least not trying.
