Aimee blinked a couple times and tilted her head alittle. "Ok sissy!" she said as she relaxed and giggled. She was really excited about hearing a story, it was getting her mind off of Leva and Jay. It was nice how easily amused the small kitten could be when it came to these sorta things. She shifted and curled in her lap watching her giggling her small tail and ears twitching back and forth.

Jathris looked down at Leva and his eyes narrowed as she spoke Jay's name. He bared his fangs and sent his shadow out into the shop. "I'll fetch him for you Leva... Just be strong..." He whispered and bared his fangs slightly in agrivation (sp?). Jathris watched as Dr. Thin spoke, "Are they safe...?"

Jay folded his ears back and looked at the Nekos. He rose to his feet and moved closer to them all. "I'm fine... I just want to help her..." He said softly and tucked his tail between his legs.

"And so you will..." A voice hissed infront of Jay's cage.

Jay looked up and nearly jumped at the sight of Jathris' shadow. The outline of Jathris opened the cage and pulled Jay out of his cage. "Go to her... She calls for you..." It hissed and melted back into the ground.

Jay looked back at the nekos, "I'm fine girls... I'll be back." He quickly trotted into the back room and over to where Leva was. "Leva... It's gonna be alright..." He whispered and laid his head on the bed next to her own. "Just breath..." Jay foled his ears back and looked up at her with worried eyes.

As Jay and Leva were reuntied Jathris bared his fangs and continued to circle the bed with the candle.

Teo watched as Jay was released from his cage, before she sighed her ears back against her head. "Hopefully everything goes well...." she murmured as she looked at Sandra, before her eyes strayed to Aimee and Samantha. The scene caused her to smile as she saw Samantha telling Aimee a story to distract the younger kitten. "She will be a good big sister...." she said softly as she sat on her cot and sighed softly.

Aimee blinked as she listened intently to the story, her ears were perked forward showing Samantha had her full intentions. She gasped softly as she heard about the bad boy Derek bullying others and giggled as she heard about Prince Eric who helped those in need. Her ears went back against her head as she heard about the sad princess and then perked back up when the prince sent for his horse to ride to the princess, though she gasped as she heard about Derek stealing a boat to get to the princess first. "Oh noes!!! Pwince Ewic has to get there first!!......Dewik will hurt the sad princess!!" she exclaimed completely emgrossed in the story.

Leva closed her eyes, "Are they...alright....?" She said quietly, slowly falling asleep. It had taken so much energy to bring them into the world. As the candle brightened the room, you could see four outlines on the floor. Four sleeping forms not stirring where they lay. Soft breaths could be heard now from each of them. They were tangible...real.

You can't make me break.

Sandra nodded, wondering if something was going wrong in there. She sat next to Teo and let her head rest on her shoulder. She saw Samantha and smiled, remembering the times she herself would tell stories. It seemed so long ago now...

Samantha smiled, "Prince Eric made his way across the bridge, but Derek was already at the castle. He snuck in and found an empty room. Inside he found a prince's crown and cloths, which he took and put on, so he looked like a prince. You see, only a prince is worthy of kissing a princess." Samantha informed Aimee, "And he made his way up the tallest tower to find the lonely princess, just as Prince Eric made it to the castle."





Dr. Thin dabbed his forehead with his kerchief. "That was..." He shook his head and then made his eyes glow gold, looking over the five sleeping forms, "All well at the very least. Drained from the experience, but to be expected. It was a bit dicey for a moment there...but all to a good end, yes?"

Teo was alittle worried about the silence coming from the back room, but there was nothing they could do but wait and hope everything went alright. She smiled as she wrapped her arm around sandra and hugged her close, before she looked at Samantha and Aimee and smiled at the two. It was easy to tell Aimee was completely engrossed in the story.

Aimee gasped her small paws coming up and clasping together infront of her as she listened to the story. " Oh Noes!! Hurry Pwince!!" she exclaimed looking completely worried about the bad Derek getting to the princess first. "you can't let him take your pwincess!!" she exclaimed as she stared up at her sissy her ears and tail perked as she waited anxiously.

Samantha took a breath before continuing. "Derek made it up the stairs and threw open the door. 'I've come to rescue you!' He lied. Abigail slowly turned from the window where she had been watching the lake and looked Derek over with large blue eyes. 'Are you a prince then?' The princess asked, never having met one before. He looked like a prince, and he said he'd come to rescue her from her loneliness, so he must be a prince, right? Down below, Prince Eric ran up the stairs and through the door, finding the princess and Derek. The prince smiled, 'Princess, I'm so glad!' He exclaimed, 'I was told you were alone, and that it made you very sad. So I can all this way, I'm happy to find you aren't so alone anymore.'"

Aimee blinked a couple times and looked tearful as she listened to the story, before she blinked hearing about the princess and Derek being found by the prince. She was confused about how the prince could be happy that Derek was there. "Why is he happy?! he has to save the pwincess from Derek!! he will only hurt her!!" she exclaimed loudly as she jumped up and ran in a circle frustrated, before she plopped down on the floor looking at Samantha her ears back against her head. "Sissy!!" she exclaimed looking at her expectantly.

Teo couldn't help but laugh softly at her daughters reaction to the story. She had to say though it was nice to see her becoming more active. She looked toward the door and bit her lip as she debated on going and knocking on it, buit she was sure that Jathris would probably freak out if she was outside her cage. She sighed as she looked at Sandra, then at Samantha and Aimee again.
