Laurent continued to smirk, before he started screaming as if in pain.
"Huh?" Demi picked her head up, losing focus at the table she was sitting at the food she was eating.
". . .Gil let the poor man go!" She snapped with an eye twitching.

Demi bit on her lip. He was using the face. The face that was damned near impossible to resist.
Laurent whimpered, not in a last attempt to get Demi to side with him. But out of fear, as Gil was using the face.
