She jumped slightly when he bit her ear, blinking as she watched him run up the stairs. She hadn't caught the scent of blood that was coming from his arm, so she believed him. She picked up Acher and cradled him as he drank from the bottle. "Your father's very strange sometimes," she told Acher as she kissed him on his ear and followed Kai up the stairs.

Tomo stepped through the portal back into his home and stretched as soon as it closed. "Why do I always dread those meetings?" He asked himself, "Oh yeah. Because nothing good ever comes of them." he murmured, walking back to the bar.

Trina, quite satisfied with her inspection of the couch, went back to her usual seat at the bar, and blinked once at Tomo. "Oh...I'm sorry you don't like meetings Tomo." She wasn't sure what a meeting was, but assumed it was where you went to meet new people. "But other than that...how are you?" She asked, content and happy and wanting Tomo to be happy too. "Perhaps you need...one of those odd...V-Cat-tion things?"

Tomo chuckled as he sipped his tea. He sat up on the bar and let his tail dangle over the other side. "I'm really good, otherwise. Thanks, Trina." He said, finding his cheerful smile again. "I really think I could use a vacation, but I'm not sure I should leave the Muffin for very long until this stupid war dies down."

Trina nodded. "I do not like war Tomo..." She shook her head, dark eyes distant for a moment, remembering. Then she seemed to forget again, smiling absently. "Ah yes. Vacation." She repeated. "That's the word. Perhaps a vacation within the muffin?" She suggested. "And why not before the Stupid War dies down?" She seemed to think that it was the war's title. "You are not fighting...are you?" She blinks at this last part. Tomo was not a violent person...

"A vacation inside the Muffin?" Tomo asked, ears perked. "That sounds like a pretty good idea, actually." He murmured, tapping his chin as he thought. "I think Ukiel would get very irritated with me if I went away to relax. I'm not fighting, but they seem to see me as a leader, anyway."

Trina kind of blinked. "Well sure. You give a lot of us a home Tomo. In a sense, you're our leader." Trina shrugged. "But yes, a vacation in the muffin can be had, I'm sure friend." She smiled. "I happen to be on one all twenty..." She paused, not sure how many hours were in a day here. "Er...seven days a week." She said brightly. And she was pretty much.

Tomo chuckled and leaned back on his hands. "Perhaps I'll take one in a few days, then." He decided, knowing he still had a few projects to finish up before the cold weather blew in. Those had to be done before he could relax.

"Yes, and I hope it goes well." Trina said, nodding. It was nice here when there was no chaos...Trina liked things simple much, much more than she liked them complicated. "Did you know Tomo, that there is a creature with ears like Skye's and Kaen's?" She said, kind of randomly, but Trina was sharing a 'discovery' she'd made. "And this creature called a bear...those are very big Tomo." Anything with fur was immediately cute to Trina, anything.

Tomo smiled, "Animals are quite fascinating, aren't they?" He asked, flicking his tail back and forth, letting it brush along the wooden floor. "Have you met Bai and Ellie's dog, Angel? She's very cute." He said, remembering playing with the canine just few hours ago.

Trina nodded. "No...I have not. I did not know they had a dog." She seemed thoughtful. "I hope to be introduced though...I like them. And yes, very cute animals." She seemed to like them as much as she did children.

Uakia came in from outside. The air was getting chilly at night. Tonight she was in a dress. Black silk from the looks of it. with a heavier cloat over top. Her hair down normally but a few elegent clips held it back from her face.
"Evening" she saidquietly. She looked a bit worn out. and if not for th emakeup she would have shadows under her eyes.

Tomo nodded, "I'll have you meet her tomorrow, if you like. Those two are away for the weekend so I offered to take care of her." He explained, "She's very sweet otherwise I wouldn't have offered. Not really a dog person, but they're nice to play with."
