Re: Kimi wig -- this is very loosely based on my hair. If you took out the pretty highlights and made it lie flat with very little of that pretty, wavy body the edit has, it might look a little like my hair. *lol* I guess it should be called the "Kimi Only Wishes" wig.
Re: FFVII discussion -- Gah! Must reinstall and play! *smacks self* No, Kimi. Must EDIT. And... oh noes! If you do something wrong with the materia, you can screw the whole character?! *flail* Must get strategy guide! Can't I re-spec?? (Re-spec = what you do in WoW when you realize your talent points are all in stupid, random places) *reads Taylor's description* Man, I really no nothing of FFVII except what I read in Meri's fic. (She would cringe if she read this.)
Re: Jen and mommyness -- There are all these cute little roundbellied pregnant ladies at church now, and I have the insane urge to go up and just put my hand on their bellies and squee at the baby. I know a lot of people think that's weird, so of course I don't, but having been pregnant so recently, I miss that connection between this world and the spirit world that pregnant women carry around with them. Random story, whited out for personal feelings: When I was in labor, my father-in-law mentioned something like that -- that this was a very amazing thing for him to be around (it was the very early stages) because a woman in labor is acting as a bridge between this world and the spirit world, sort of touching both at once to bring forth a new life. I don't think I said it at the time, but a contraction hit just then and I wanted to say, "It's not an easy bridge to be!!" ... at the same time, the thought comforted me. That scene still sticks vividly in my head for some reason.
RE: Turkey-talk -- I love that one scene in that one movie (you know what I mean right? or was it a TV show?) where they get this huge raw turkey, and someone pulls out the little bag of giblets and says "Aww, look, he brought his lunch!" *giggle*
*spams up Chatterbox and wastes precious baby-sleeping time doing nothing*

@Kimi- I don't think Materia will mess up the character completely. I mean, it will play with there status (like, summons, and regular magic materia's will lower your HP slightly, while there are support materias that will raise your hp (as in HP plus)) The ultimate weapons have specific needs in order for them to be the strongest they can be 3nodding For example, Cloud's ultimate weapon does the most damage when he has most of his HP left. It gets weaker when he starts to loose hp if you don't cure him. Red XIII's weapon, is just like Cloud's but based on his MP. Tifa's is weird though...I'm not sure if I was suppose to go trying to get all these misses with her limit break so the weapon became more powerful(seriously, 300 damage for an ultimate weapon is pathetic) or if I should train her now and keep getting misses while it's equipped(because when I have God's hand on, despite me getting as may misses as possible, she never gets any stronger) Though for all the things that make the ultimate weapon stronger, it’s listed here http://www.midnite-angel.net/ffdg/ff7/ff7ultimate.html *hops off to play Maple Story* I'm level 12 with my mage now heart

All this videogame talk makes me want to go play something @-@ Pity I haven't anything to play right now. Or maybe it's just luck?
I just had dinner and I need to write only another 700 words for NaNo today. I'm about 72% done, and quite happy. Whatever happens, november's nearly finished 4laugh

Kimi: Think of materia as equipment for your weapons. They're essientially enhancements for your character ranging from extra abilities, to spells and summons, to bonus stats. Your materia grows stronger based on it's own experience value also recieved from enemies; however only the materia equipped gains experience. The materia can be unequipped from your weapon and armor and be interchanged with other materia on other pieces of character equipment. Do remember though, that the effects of materia are never permanent. They only have effect when equipped.
It's one big customizable system between your character and it's equipment. 3nodding

Alex: Ahh, I see. Sort of like weapon enchants. Only less expensive, assuming materia are reusable.
Random: I want a t-shirt like this.

Yeah? xD Well I want this one: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/frustrations/388b/And of course Materia is reusable. In fact, if you can get a materia to maximum experience, it "spawns" a brand new first level materia of the same kind. Very useful, as it works with any materia at all.
