The Keeper is a demon in a game called Dungeon Keeper. I don't know much more than that. A balor tanarai by my understanding.

Demons in general are chaotic and like to destroy things, for fun. They also get bored easily, so they are always warring.

'Nightbloods' are non-existant in the games I have played, so I simply assumed they were demons, with demon like characteristics, which makes them vile creatures. The definition of demon (dictionary) implies those thoughts.

But, they could always take another form of being, such as puppet. It is possible for an otherworldly being to simply be a puppet, like a golem, but more fleshy... if that is an appropriate way to describe it.

But, should I decide to have a creature called a Nightblood, it would probably be some kind of vampiric creature, or merely something that bleeds 'night'. Or, if I were to design it from the ground up, it would have a snake tail, and four arms, two of which are larger crab sized arms, and two normal humanish type, with the human beneath the crab. Its face would be the maw of a dog set to the facial structure of either a baboon or chimpanzee, with two curled horns coming from the brow either ram or goat. It would have large teeth, all canine, and a serpent tongue. It would have fur on the upper portion, and scales on the lower. On its back, it would have four bat wings, reaching bout twenty feet to other side if its five feet tall, or a similar ratio for taller or shorter verisions. One set of wings would be smaller and more decorative. It would have the inate ability to make Walls of Fire, and maybe Darkness. Or Walls of Flaming Darkness ((Black Fire)). It would feed off people by draining their bodies of cellular strength, aging them with their attacks. It would be immune to fire and acid damage, highly resitant to cold, and lighting. ti would have high spell resitance in general. And maybe a glaive of some sort. It has blood as dark as the blackest night, and can be used to cause aging or as a source of infinate fuel for a lamp or similar device. Its claws can be used to make arrowheads of burning darkness, and its scales can be used to make armour resistant to the elements. Its wings can be swon into Cloaks of Flying. If you place its horns into your skull, you gain the ability to conjour darkness at will. Its glaive is useless when it dies. Demon, so I guess it would like in the Abyss or similar places in the service of stronger demons or gods.
