Konami Shojou *rushes around* Does anyone know how long I need to leave a turkey out to thaw? At what time do I stuff the turkey? @____@; How big is the turkey? The only safe way to thaw a turkey is in the refrigerator. Other methods cause bacteria to grow which can remain even after cooking. If it's a small turkey (8-14 pounds) you should only need two or three days in the refrigerator to thaw it. (the rule-of-thumb I was taught was 24hrs for every five pounds of poultry). Don't forget to put it in a dish to catch the blood and runoff from the thawing, or you'll have to clean your refrigerator out when you're done. As for stuffing it, I'm not sure what you mean about 'when.'

*giggles at what Meri said three pages ago*
No worries...I've wasted a lot of hours playing for two PSO characters...and they're both high levels so it's a big number.
Although, my cousin's story is worse...he had a level 92 character (if you don't know...this is a good 160-180 hours he spent), and the memory card got corrupted. cry
And he came back with now having a level 83 character...we're about the same level now, him and I. 3nodding
But...I dunno if you play PSO so that might have been a bunch of gibberish...
I want to make a PSO character who resembles a Husky...if I had a fursona that would be it. (I really hope I spelled that right sweatdrop )
Canis Familiaris...yay. xd
And to Vincent a few pages ago too...yesss! You have the party I used to use, Cloud, Cid and Vincent.
But after I found that for me, Vincent was a bad character to use (limit breaks), I switched and started using Tifa... sweatdrop
Then I switched her and used Yuffie.
Now I have a file with Barret and Cid. I JUST finished the part where you get Cid too...so he's a fresh character.
*sigh* Now...on to the event where Yuffie steals your materia in Wutai. gonk *has to prepare because last time I tried I was killed horribly* crying

Konami: Try foodnetwork.com. ^^ They have kewl recipes. Also I've always heard that you stuff the turkey before you do any cooking. I've also heard that it's hard as heck to make sure the stuffing gets cooked enough without the turkey getting dried. >.> This is why many people cook the stuffing separately...so it's not even stuffed in the turkey at all.

*flail* Okay. That's probably what I'll end up doing. I may bake the stuffing just a bit, to make it a bit crispy.
*flails more* @o@;;;

Konami Shojou By when, I mean...you don't stuff it right away. You wait until it's cooked some. I've never cooked it that way. Cooking them together means that you either get partially-cooked turkey juice in your stuffing, or that one or the other gets cooked too little or too much. I always cook them separately and then add the stuffing to the turkey either on the side or just before serving.

O_O; I don't want to give my guests food poisoning. Thanks again. heart Aiko Destiny I'm so grateful we don't have thanksgiving... I hate eating too much for your own good, Xmas is bad enough @-@ I guess it's just me being a sap, but I love the holidays, and Thanksgiving. Regardless of the orgins of the holiday, I think any day that you get together with loved ones and remind each other of all things to be thankful for is a good day. ^^ Even if it is a lot of work. sweatdrop

*still sniffling a bit after seeing GoF* So sad... but Hermoine looks gorgeous! crying
Turkey talk: what do y'all use to moisten the turkey while it cooks? When my dad makes it, he uses Pepsi, unless there isn't any, in which case he uses Coca-Cola.
FF7 talk: I go with my favorite characters; Cloud (duh!), Aeris, and Vincent, but after the Temple I use Barret. By Disc 3 I use Cid more because of his weapon that has the 2 Triple slots. Poor Yuffie hardly got used at all when I first played it, but when I learned of the Wutai sidequest, I used her more in order to finish it. Tifa still hardly gets used (not too fond of trying to aim right for her Limit Breaks)... sweatdrop
Baby talk: my friend Rachel (CookiesNCream on Gaia) is having a little boy soon, and I got to feel him kicking a couple weeks ago. rofl
