Sirea Angelie Snoozing kitties are always cute....especially snoozing kittens. xd Again, so much so that I'm already awwing just from hearing the words "snoozing kittens." I kind of wish that the cat was a bit more snuggly. I would love to pick up and hug a sleeping kitten right now. Jishin Well, at least it's not food allergies. I think it'd be really frustrating to be unable to eat your favorite things ... Indeed. I know someone who was supposedly allergic to about a zillion foods, but was actually allergic to the material that they used to apply the allergen samples during testing. Anyway, we never really hear about any deadly cat allergies, do we?... APH-Fem Canada-APH Then again, I heard that there are 20 people in the world who are allergic to water . . . now that's a life of hell. So that wasn't just my imagination for all of these years, then? I saw something about that on TV years ago, but people don't really believe me when I mention it. ...Okay, why did I not simply go "INTERNET!" before? There we are. Man, that sounds really rough, though.

Get a hairless cat like me. Problem solved. Ugly, but in that cute way. Like Sloth from Goonies.

Nope, I've never heard about any deadly animal allergies unless we're talking things like beestings. Ugh, can you imagine, being allergic to the allergy test! *facepalm* I keep thinking about allergy shots to get rid of mine, but eeeeeeeh. That's a long round of needles, and I'm not a fan. And mine are pretty easy to avoid most of the time -- I do okay without furry pets. I have two big fish tanks instead. Uriel -- that wouldn't work for me, I'm allergic to the dander and not the fur. /: Unless they're really dander-light, somehow.

I know this may make me sound like an a** but, fish are just . . . dumb . . .

APH-Fem Canada-APH Well, you don't get a real kind of love with fish than you do with dogs or cats. I know this may make me sound like an a** but, fish are just . . . dumb . . . Nah, you don't sound like an a**. There are a handful of smart and pettable fishes, mostly they're in the catfish or carp genus (koi) and they get to be pretty big. Not the kind you can easily keep in the house unless you're really dedicated. I have yoyo loaches, kuhli loaches, gold barbs, and corydoras catfish, along with a few plecos that don't do well at actually keeping the algae in check. They're definitely not cats or dogs, but they are soothing and playful to watch, so that works for me. I never really had furry pets growing up because of the allergies, so I don't miss them.

Fish can be neat, but there is the lack of cuteness to consider. Still, maybe it's for the best. What you don't know you can't miss. ...More cats for me, muahaha.APH-Fem Canada-APH Why can't allergies jut go the frak away? I know. They're a bunch of felgercarb.

I've seen how big koi fish can get . . . good grief. But I'm used to seeing little itty bitty fish, which my uncle used to have.
