Josec followed the scientist down to the lab. "What do you mean it worked?!"The scientist didn't reply, he just rushed to the lab and Josec followed.
They eventually made it to the lab, and Josec was led to the confinement area where the most dangerous experiments were conducted. The scientist hastily slid across a metal plate that was on the door, revealing a small glass window for Josec to look through.
At first he could see nothing as the lights in the room were turned off. Then, the single beam of light that flooded in from the window fell upon a face. Josec recognized Maddy. Even though only half of her was shown, he could tell she was sitting in a corner, her knees hugged to her chest. Her eyes were closed, and she was very pale, almost as if she was dead. Josec was about to turn to the scientist and ask him why he was being shown a dead body and then she opened her eyes and glared at him. The eye Josec saw first, her right, was the same blood red color it always was. But even though the other half of her body was shrouded in darkness, the stunning bright purple of her left eye was also visible.
Josec slid the plate across, closing the window. He turned to the scientist. "What happened to the scientist that was in there?"
The other scientist shook his head grimly. "Upon injection she went completely berzerk. She stabilized only minutes afterwards, but by then he was..."
Josec smirked. "It doesn't matter. The experiment worked. When she's ready to come out, make sure you get a sample of her DNA. We may be able to use it to make the last adjustments on the virus."

"Idiots." Ike said. "They don't know a thing about time travel or Celebi." he finished with a sigh and sat down on the couch away from Theresa. "We really should put you in a holding cell."

"Do what you want. Just remember I am the only one who can really tell you the state your friend is in. You will need me if you want to save her." Theresa just sat there, looking at him. She understood why he was being so cautious, as former leader of Team Aqua's enemy, none of them could properly trust her.

"That's why it would be such a bummer if you'd leave without us knowing." he said trying to justify such an insulting act. He wanted to save Maddy, but he didn't want to help this lady get her seat back as Shadow's leader. In fact, after all that Shadow has done to Aqua... after all the blows he and the team had received from these creeps... he wanted to see this group wiped off the face of the Earth.
Ike lead Theresa out of the common room and down to the brig. It was one of the most awkward escorts he had ever given.

"Ike, really, where is she going to go? Even if you put her into holding, what's to stop her from opening a portal and just escaping that way?" Ginji interjected as he followed the awkward pair down the way.

Theresa merely sighed. "You think I could leave that easily?" She bowed her head as she walked, staring at the ground unseeingly. She then looked up at him and just watched him. "..."

"Brian!" yelled Ike with bright eyes. He then held his breath to see how Ginji would react. Ginji had related Ike's "break" with Aqua to Brian's disappearance with distaste and bitterness to both of them. Hopefully he had put it behind him.

Ginji giggled as he looked from Brian to Theresa to Ike back to Brian. "Brian? Welcome back." he smiled as he then turned back to Ike and his prisoner. "I...think so. That's how she followed her Admins to the wedding."
