"That's awesome. Good to know that Komlon is talking to people as well."
She waved to Zero and smiled. "You better practice! Next time I won't go so easy on you!" She laughed lightly before turning back to Hana.
"So, shall we be off to the dorms? I believe my things are at the entrance."

"OK!" She said, as a big grin formed on her face. She couldn't help, but sprinting in the direction of the dorms. She also wanted to redecorate her room. Sighing, she looked over her shoulder to see if Krissy was following her.
"Last one there has to buy the others food for a week from the cafeteria." She said mischeviously, as she sped off towards the dorms.

(OOC: I dunno if anyone is going to read this, but here goes nothing! *Takes a deep breath before plunging into character*)
Miki stepped out from the school buildings into the Courtyard, a small breeze catching his long light-brown hair and playing it like a well-tuned instrument. He wore a plain white shirt and greyish sweatpants, along with a black leather violin case strapped onto his back and a duffel bag in his right hand containing the things he would need once he found his room. For now Miki preferred to walk barefoot: feeling the cool blades of grass caressing him. He was new here- obviously- and wanted to tour the grounds so this foreign place would be more familiar to him. What could be more embarrassing than getting lost?
He shuddered as several possibilities floated through his mind.
Hauling his luggage with him, Miki walked over to the elaborately decorated water-fountain which he had spotted from the entrance to the Courtyard. It mesmerised him, compelling him to get closer; the two figures, a dragon and a phoenix, forever locked in mortal combat. It seemed so unreal, and yet there they were standing in front of Miki.
Setting down the duffel bag on the edge of the fountain, and taking a moment to make sure it wouldn't fall in, Miki leaned over and reached out with his hand to touch the statues. The stone felt cold, hard, unyielding . . . absolutely nothing like the shifting waters surrounding them. Miki pulled his hand back quickly, as if touching these statues had burned him. As he pulled away his golden eyes fell upon a plaque with a message concerning the statues: In Memory of Truinis and Saya. Miki blinked, wondering what it meant.
With a sigh, Miki lowered himself back onto the ground, turned around, and hopped onto the edge of the fountain next to his bag. He ran his hand through his hair, pushing aside strands that had fallen over his face from the wind. Looking up to the sky he started to swing his legs in boredom . . .

((Well I read it))
Michio had rested in his room and had exited it to sit in the courtyard, once again to see the statues, when he sees someone who is carrying alot of objects sitting at the fountain. He walks up to him, "The fountain is very beautiful, isn't it. I know that there is at least one more on the grounds."

Miki hadn't noticed he had company, that is until the boy in front of him spoke and shattered whatever train of thought he was in. Jumping in fright at the sudden noise he felt an overwhelming urge to go scurry behind something. After a few seconds reason persuaded him that this newcomer meant no harm, but it took a lot more time for Miki's heart to calm down.
Miki took a deep breath, opening his mouth to answer. No sound came out. Shutting his mouth quickly he turned away from the boy and flushed in embarrassment and frustration; instead, a simple nod was his reply. Miki didn't really like the statues: they emphasized life while feeling too much like death. If he saw another one it would be too soon. Risking a sideways glance at the boy, Miki wondered if he was a student here. Perhaps he could show him around . . . but then he bowed his head in gloom.
How could you ask someone for help without speaking?

"You look like your new here," Michio says, "I am too, but I can show you to the dormatory and cafeteria, by the way, my name is Michio." he says looking at the new possible new friend.

Miki nodded, this time more vigorously. The boy, Michio, knew what he was thinking even if he couldn't say it. With a smile filling his childlike face, Miki hopped off of the fountain's edge and extended his right arm to Michio in a universal gesture of friendly greeting- also known as the handshake. Maybe being here wasn't going to be so bad after all. Then again, Michio didn't know . . . and for a second this caused Miki to waver in his smile, but he quickly regained it. He hoped Michio wouldn't find out his secret.

Michio extends his hand out and shakes Miki's, "Well you sure are a quiet one, well that doesn't matter, the dorms are this way," he says walking off towards them, "We will get you a room, and then we will head to the cafeteria, by the way, I'm in room 239, if you need me."

Miki quickly twisted around and snatched up his duffel bag before following Micho back into the building, giving him one last glimpse of the fountain . . . and then he was speed-walking to catch up to Michio, who was already moving ahead. He hoped to get a room to himself, or if that was impossible maybe a room with someone like Michio.

"Oh you're on girly girl!"
She set off at break neck speed to catch up with Hana. Once she'd gotten up beside her she yelled.
"You cheater!"
She laughed good naturedly when they arrived at the dorm rooms in a tie.

Walking into the courtyard, the most familiar place already to him besides his room, Zero stretches. Panic rakes it's rusty claws against the insides of his chest, though he tries not to show it. He knows what will happen next, or what will happen soon. Always looking around, Zero walks to the middle of the courtyard, as to have a vantage point of the whole place. This is most likely, the safest place I can come to. Noone here either...good. Shifting shadows make his breath catch in his throat, but he tries his best to maintain an outward calm.

Seeing something move in his peripheral vision, Zero blinks the sweat out of his eyes. Still sitting, he waits for the perfect oppurtunity.

((Sorry about that. I'll make sure they are longer.)) Feeling the knife at his throat, Zero feels all panic leave him, a cool calm settling over him at the arrival of what he had been waiting for. "All these years....You could have had a normal life, forgetting. But you had to pry, and find out what shouldn't be uncovered. You know what happens next, don't you?" Nodding, a cold glint enters into Zero's eyes. "I think so." A cold laugh emanating from the hooded figure behind him, the blade pushes harder, the cold steel shocking his nerves. "You get your neck broken." A bit of a gasp emanating from that same figure, Zero takes the loss of concentration to his advantage by hitting the blade away, then twisting and ducking. Tensing his legs, he shoves straight upward, his head connecting with the bottom of the man's chin, making a decidedly satisfying crunch. Pushing away, Zero lands in the grass, beyond the man's reach.

The man spits a few teeth out, an inhuman growl emanating from his throat. "You don't get it, do you Kin? Hearing the name makes time stand still for Zero, thoughts and words whirling around his head like a cyclone. Stumbling backwards, he feels the wind knocked out of him as a fist enters his gut. Lifted up into the air by the blow, Zero lands hard onto his back. Coughing, he brings himself up onto his forearm. "I swear I'll kill you...How do you know my name?!" "Your father cried it out before he died...the weak fool, he cared so much about his family, he couldn't see the truth right in front of him! You can't hide from the ineviatable, and if your father had realized that, he wouldn't have died so early into his life. Saying all this with mockery, Zero feels an intense rage consume him, gradually fading into an icy cold that froze his heart, giving him focus and a sharp anger.

Zsuz has her hands stuffed into her pocket, coming from the girl's dorm for a late night stroll through the courtyard. She scans her eyes over the darkened area, though she doesn't have much in the way of night vision than most other normal folks, she looks to see if anyone is about. Moving to sit by the foutain, she decides to relax there as she continues to glance about, letting her hands dip into the water and trail there casually, listening to the music streaming from her headset.
(Edit: Since Gaia's guild system was offline for so long last evening I'm going to wrap my courtyard post up here, since I wasn't able to last evening before going to bed.)
She stays there for a few minutes, not seeing much of anyone in the courtyard, and yawns again. Zsuz shakes her head, it's pointless to stay awake just for the sake of staying awake, and she had don't quite a lot of work that evening. Letting out a sigh, she decides instead to head back to the girl's dorms to get some sleep. Standing, she rubs her slightly chilly arms for a moment and then briskly walks back to the dorm. The cool wind brushes some of the sleepiness out of her eyes, but that won't last more than five minutes when she's in the confines of her warm room once more.
