"Oh, it's just Finn and a vampire. Oh, what's his name? Koriko I think it was, but then again, I'm no omnipotent!" She laughed a bit, enjoying her little joke on herself.

The man seems to think on this a moment. "You allow lesser earth monsters like those to exist? There is much I must learn about the west. I apologise for my lack of understanding in these matters. Only spirits, and demons haunted the earth where I am from... unless a human meddled in things he should not..." He takes another sip form the sake.

"Lycans and vampires are everywhere in NYC. It's the demons who lack number here. And it's no problem, Saito-san." Neko quickly assure him. "Please, feel free to ask me any questions you want regarding the other night-walker races."

Haruko nods, "It seems... that the chi here is destroyed by the buildings of the humans. There is no nature and so the natural spirits are not present. Also the people here do not believe in them enough for them to gain seat... Perhaps this is why the balance is upset." And he seems contemplative once again, finishing off his sake.

He frowns for a moment, "I find it hard... to contemplate that a demon's parents would not educate her about... such fundimental aspects of life. I had no parents, It apears I was created out of a need for martial prowess during the feudal period. I knew all I needed to know form the moment I gained form. Though I have since learned the true way of the warior, not the barbaric fighting style I used to use..." he shudders for a moment, "No number of honourable duels will ever clense my tainted honor. I am just glad I have no family to shame."

Haruko looks suddenly surprised, "You... you are only seventeen human years? Then I do believe there are thousands of things you must learn..." he laughs a little, "Maybe I should call your Neko-chan? that seems more fitting, but no. You are an elder and I must be respectfull."

The man laughs again, "Because, many would find being called Neko-chan demeaning, but as you do not, and as it seems... appropriate I will continue to use the honorific... Hmmmm" he slowly stands up, adjusts his swords in his belt and looks into the distance. "I must leave, I am afraid. Perhabs next time I will breing some green tea... I intend to inhabit this copse as long as I can divert the eyes of humans... I would so love a sakura tree or a bamboo thicket but I am not at home anymore..." He looks back at the female demon, bows again and smiles as he says, "Sayonara, Neko-chan." After this he turns and begins to walk from the place, leaving the table and the sake there.
