Musica looked up from his spot alongside the Lake, and saw a large being of Light heading for the Headmistress. He sighed deeply, knowing he was the only one who could intervene here. Who else could control Light? None that he knew. Calmly he walked over to the area of where the two were and stood alongside the shore.

"Ey, Krause! Need a hand?" He yelled with his hands cupped around his mouth. A smirk tugged at his lips.

{{Just remember everyone, please, that during a massive fight scene where others are involved, you can't go too far without letting others respond. For example, it now looks as if Arielle and Musica are the only ones defending Arielle now, but that would not be the case. Ever would help, Akira probably would, Ari, Nessa... So just don't get too far without letting the rest of us respond, please. Of course, if someone hasn't been on for days without a good reason and they haven't responded, then of course it's okay to move on without them. But in general, it's good to let everyone have a chance to respond. smile Thank you! biggrin }}

Ever groaned in frustration when the wolf walked right through her fire. Her powers weren't getting a scratch on him.

She gasped, though, as an idea hit her. Maybe she was focusing her powers on the wrong entity. Perhaps she should focus on using her powers to defend Headmistress Krause rather than attacking the wolf. Someone else's powers would probably cause damage when hers weren't, so she should focus on doing what her powers were capable of doing: protecting Headmistress Krause.

She ran over to Headmistress Krause and grabbed her hand. "Headmistress Krause, don't worry! I'll protect you while someone else figures out a way to destroy the wolf. My powers don't affect him at all, but I'm sure someone else's will. I can teleport you around the lake until the wolf is defeated. It will cause some dizziness, but at least you'll be safe and you'll still be connected to the water, so you'll be able to still have your energy replenished."

Ever closed her eyes and concentrated. She was trying to use her powers for two different actions for the first time. She was trying to make the shadows come over to the lake and form an intangible column that would still hold her and the headmistress above the water. The shadows would connect the water and the headmistress, so she could still replenish her energy, but being up above the lake should keep the wolf from getting to them for awhile. Besides, it looked as if it was made up of pure light. It was just a guess, but if that was the case, wouldn't it have to stay away from shadows?

She was also working on teleporting herself and the headmistress to that shadow column. She had never used her powers for two different acts before, but she felt confident in herself for once.

And sure enough, moments later, Headmistress Krause and Ever were being held up by the shadows above the lake from around the area around the lake and in the forest. They were about 20 feet in the air.

Ever smiled brightly over at her headmistress, quite proud of herself, and then laughed at the headmistress's look on her face.

"I can see that I've surprised you with what I can do, Headmistress. I don't like to let this get around, but I do study and try to work on my powers. I've been working harder lately at nights. Also, I was on Mt. Olympus twice this weekend, and apparently that gives me a very large boost in power and stays with me for a certain amount of time after I leave."

((I'd say go ahead and post. Personally, I'm supposed to be mostly out for the night because of this stupid French project that's definitely gonna take longer than I'm planning and I'm procrastinating on anyway. I mayyyyy just up and leave randomly, but I don't have any big homework tomorrow night, at least, so I'll def be on then.))

Finally, the wolf's eyes had appeared and were now a piercing color blue, representing the creator's. Nikolaus could see now through the wolf's eyes, and act out through it. The rest of him was becoming more defined slowly, the nose on the tip of his snout was turning coal black, and fur a shade of gray. It looked up at the two above him in the air, and it took on a face of frustration. It was being powered by the lake, so now it was slightly more stronger than before.

The wolf rose up from the ground, and seemed to float up to the two hovering above. Angrily it snarled, before swinging its glowing light blade at the two. It sent the wolf reeling back, as well as bouncing back against the two in the shadows. Light and Dark magic as strong as this rejected each other, sending both users backwards. The wolf reappeared on the Lake, agitated.

Ever gasped as she and the headmistress were thrown backward. She had already turned to stand in front of the headmistress when the wolf came at them. She hadn't had time to think. Her reaction was just to stand in front of the headmistress to take the blow instead of her. She couldn't die from it, anyway.

But before the weapon could make contact, she felt herself and the headmistress being thrown backward. She smiled brightly, though, as she realized that her shadows had done what she had hoped they would. They repelled the light, also reinforcing her idea that the wolf was made of light!

She smiled brightly at her headmistress as she caused more shadows to come and catch them. They didn't fall at all and were still 20 feet above the lake. They were simply on a different platform now, and the original one dispersed, those shadows escaping back to their original location.

She was smiling brightly because her idea had worked and because she saw a light lion coming out of the water to attack the wolf.

"You see, Headmistress Krause?! I protected you while someone else thought of a way to physically attack the wolf! It's going to be okay, I know it!"
