Pear blossoms are so festive. We have a lot of those trees downtown here. The petals are all over the ground. It looks like pink and white confetti.

Do you have room for a cherry tree? You could get one at a plant nursery, or mail order. Sometimes even supermarkets sell them at this time of year.

What would you have to take into account when planning a location for a cherry tree?

Our yard its self is fairly large but already has a few trees in it, so we would have to space it carefully to allow it room to grow.

A nice Acsii Map of our front yard for you. ^8^
I think it would help with an idea of what kinda of room were working with in our front yard.
Space between the pear trees is prob. 5 or 6 feet. (Sorry, didnt have room to put that in the Acsii map.) sweatdrop

Wow that's a lot going on in that space. I see what you mean about having to plan the location carefully. I wish work wasn't so busy. This nice weather gives me the urge to plant something. I guess I can start tomatoes and peppers inside. Our last frost date is April 11. Can't wait for the weekend.

I WISH I had a greenhouse. I have a few sunny windows where I can keep newly sprouted plants until it's warm enough to put them out. There's also a little back porch where I can put plants out on warm days and take them back inside on cool nights.
