Qyp onixdragon Hakora Fury kouri-chan_xx ooo I loved Ip Man smile Yea I see what you mean. Do you know of any martial artists that are more "real" or can be comparable to high level ones? I'm not into the scene so I don't know that many haha. I only know the famous actor ones >_> Bruce Lee, Donnie Yin (he played Ip Man razz ) Check Norris (student of Bruce Lee.) Westley Snipes onixdragon there is no such thing as a martial arts made for show. most martial arts were developed to look like dances in the first place. but anyway a martial art is deadly anyway you look at it. That is actually not true. Martial Arts was originally created for fighting or in the words of Jackie Chan, to create peace. After China was taken over, any martial arts that could be used to fight was outlawed and all that was left was stuff like tai chi and such. Yes, martial arts can all be used for fighting, but unless its actually geared for fighting then its not as effective. Like taking a 22 to war, it can kill, but it will take a while. what are you talking about. tai chi is one of the most deadly arts in the world. its movements are meant to be used very fast but its slowed down and is primarily used as form of meditation. im not saying there are no martial arts meant to be flashy but the primary function is to be a deadly martial art. its this that separates dance from deadly martial art. If it is classed as martial arts... it's deadly. Period. thank you.

Both are Martial Arts, both are pathetic/not deadly. Capoeira = Dancing. Shodokan = No attacking, just blocking. ^_^
To answer your question about high level martial arts: Brazilian Jiujitsu, Muay Thie, and Ninjitsu/Kung Fu are the top three deadliest martial arts. So, those would be the most "real"/deadly of the Martial Arts. heart .

The thing is with, Martial Arts, you never just learn one style... a lot of people learn multiple styles, to make their own.

I don't know what you're talking about. I have a black belt in ShoDokan, and it is strictly blocking. So that's where my info comes from. Where does your's? ((Please note that Aikido /=/ Shodokan))
Capoeira is just a dance. It was designed to be a dance because they weren't allowed to have Martial Arts. This isn't Mortal Kombat/Tekken/ there aren't one-hit kill strikes in pathetic non-deadly Martial Arts/Dancing. Please reference where you're getting your info on Capoeira. heart

It's not an interruption. wink So... I'm guessing Konoha... and Qyp directed you to Armads? If so... then the only advice I can give is try to be patient. sweatdrop
On average, some people take weeks to respond to messages... now if you wanted to join Taki.... I'm on almost everyday AND I check my PM's. wink wink *lol* Don't let me steal you from the Leaf if you'd prefer it there. razz

Alright let's behave people, we can have a discussion without making personal attacks at anyone. I can't believe people would be so emotional about their martial arts!
But, just to be clear, no cursing at anyone here. I understand that Onix didn't mean it as an insult but used it to put emphasis but it was reasonable for Rachel to be slightly offended by it.
By the way Rachel is your character's clan Yuki?
