Sammy followed Ike and sat on one of the chairs, (woohoo! No more sky!) while answering Mai's question, "Ms. Maddy is one of the Tier 1 ranked members; basically, on of the 'captains'." She munched on an oreo, her eyes turning crazy with oreo addiction. It was, literally, like a drug to her. "My own brand of heroine..." Taking the line from one of her favorite books.

"Well," Ike started, "I guess I should start at the beginning. The day I left that note and high-tailed it out of here, the first thing I did was go visit my parent's resting place in Altomare. I just wanted to visit them without being shot at by the brilliance gang." he said with a sarcastic tone. "I just thought of the stories Marty told me... how he and they when they were kids fought the early Team Rocket. Something was talking to me in my head... a cold voice... was telling me that I've become what they fought to destroy; that Team Aqua was no longer in it for protecting the world, but turning it into what we wanted it to be." he sighed.
"Well... after that I guess I went to find Steven. I figured I still had friends in the League... so I found him and Lanette with their research in Meteor Falls." he went on. "After everyone was coming back out of the tunnel, there I noticed-" he stopped to clear his throat. "...Maddy. That voice started almost talking to me again. It told me I had the power to dissolve Team Aqua if I wanted to... I wasn't all for the idea... but Maddy looked like she was lost as well. That's when I asked her to join me." he paused for a moment.

"As curious as I am to hear this story, I'm afraid I don't really have the time for it tonight. I'm supposed to meet someone who may have clues about our old friends Amarube and Yura." Dusclops phases in behind me. "Dusclops will be glad to fill me in later."

Ginji listened intently, not noticing the waves below or the black fire off in the distance. The illusion held. It was odd. Did Darkrai really have the power to project the past with Natu? It seemed unlikely, but nothing was for certain anymore. "Lost...darkness holds a powerful temptation..." Ginji mumbled as he waited for Ike to continue.

Sammy couldn't suppress the shudder that went down her spine; it was as if they were watching the prologue to a horror movie, and that overwhelming feeling that you couldn't change the devastating outcome had begun to take over. She didn't say anything at all.

"Well... things were pretty quiet the following days after she decided to travel with me." Ike continued on. "We made out way over to Johto and to travel around there. She was always doing something with her hand..." he dropped his head down in frustration. "I should of payed more attention. I just... was too hung up on you guys. I was so mixed and confused about Aqua... and when we wound up in Ilex Forest that one day, I just snapped. Sorry for everything I said." Ike looked back up. "But you know by now that that was when Maddy and I started time traveling. We were thrown back in time with that biker... which... was left back in November of this year." Ike trailed off to think where Wolfe was now, but shook it off and stayed focused.
"From there on there was only one objective in our minds: How to get back to our own time." he told everyone. "At first we were sent back to 1979 where we ran into a very young Ames. You know, brilliance gang director of spying and stuff?" he said, unenthusiastically. "Well... we escaped him by Maddy teleporting us to Pallet Town and tricking Celebi into time traveling again." he went on. "This time back to 2008... but November. We knew we couldn't get to our exact time... we needed a way to control Celebi's time traveling... so we...went to him." he said, pausing for dramatic effect without meaning to.

"Cyrus..." Ginji said in a soft tone. Slowly he put the pieces together. "And from there you two payed a visit to Kurt who told you of a way to control Celebi?" he asked, looking up at Ike, he thought he had sensed him when Kurt had taught him to make Pokeballs.

Sammy didn't know if her guess was correct, but she had a pretty good idea of who Ike was talking about. She continued to keep quiet, although there were many questions she wished to ask.

Ike chuckled. "Heh, yeah. Cyrus. But since his mind was erased after we beat him that one day on Mt. Coronet... he was basically a stick. His mind was split up into three pieces... Knowledge, Emotion, and Valor. How nice of the lake spirits, eh?" he joked. "Well... you can make the connection. Those three things we got after that battle; the orb, the medallion, and the sword... were all pieces of Cyrus's mind." he told them. "Maddy has that medallion..." Ike trailed off again, but he got right back to his story. "Anyways, Kwchups had that orb, which was Cyrus's knowledge. We needed that and that only. Maddy came here and stole it from him, and we gave it back to Cyrus." he finished with a gulp. "Cyrus told us about a thing called the GS ball which, " Ike turned to Ginji, "We did go see Kurt to see if he could make us one. I wasn't expecting you guys to show up." he sighed. "Thats when I found out what I needed to make the ball and ran out the back of the house."
Ike stretched out on the couch, then leaned forward. "There we time traveled once more... and somehow I think Team Shadow followed us. This time we went all the way back to the 1800's. I guess you guys saw the rest of it... While I was off getting a rainbow feather from Ho-oh needed to make the GS ball... Maddy was confronted by Team Shadow. They must of struck a deal behind my back or something." he said, clenching his fists. It all seemed to happen a long time ago, and he was still extremely outraged by it. But something came across his mind. Something he just now realized.
"Maddy!" he said, jumping up from the couch. "HA! She hasn't won anything!" he said with rejoice. He then ran back to his room and dove into his messenger bag, pulling out two items just what he wanted to see. he ran back out to the common room, one in each hand.
"The feathers!" he said, laughing. Why was it only know he was realizing this? "Team Shadow can't do anything with Celebi without these. Heheh." he said triumphantly. "The GS Ball is the only thing that'll control Celebi's time travel. Without it, they can't control squat!"

"But even a blind dog finds a bone every now and then..." Ginji trailed off as the illusion broke and both Natu and Darkrai returned to their Pokeballs. Natu's ball now burned with the same dark presence that Darkrai had held. The burning, the blackness. "Just because they can't control Celebi, doesn't mean they can't get lucky with its powers."
Aqua was in for a long haul. Maddy had teamed up with their old friend, Team Shadow, and they had Celebi. Things could get ugly really fast.

Sammy looked off into the distance. "Mr. Ike..." She sighed, shaking her head. It was so typical, she thought, of him to see that bit of optimism just now. She still couldn't wrap her mind around the thought that Ms. Maddy had betrayed Mr. Ike like that... She couldn't be thinking straight.

Ike slowly looked down to the floor after hearing Ginji's words. "Then maybe... we should get the GS ball made and capture Celebi before they can do anything with it." he suggested. He felt like he was back in the game. He then looked over at Sammy, hearing his name called.

Sammy looked up, a big grin stretching from ear to ear. "--Then we're not gonna let them get Celebi!" She cheered, pointing one finger upwards towards the ceiling. She then quickly retracting into folding her arms into her stomach, remembering the feeling of being up in the sky... so... scary.... @_@

"I could probably make the GS Ball. Maddy may be thinking one step ahead if we go to Kurt. And quite possibly she may be 'waiting' for us if we got to see him." Ginji suggested as he recalled the Greenhouse PMing him on his TADS telling him that the Apricorn were ready.

Ike handed Ginji the feathers. He knew Ginji was becoming a great poke ball manufacturer, and he had been gone for so long... perhaps now he had even surpassed Kurt in skills? He turned to Sammy once more.
"Well I mean... Maddy already has Celebi... she's probably taken it to Team Shadow already... I just can't believe she turned on us like that... what does she think she'll get out of this?" he asked out loud, but shutting up when he realized he could of just been talking about himself when he left the team.
