Corinne hurriedly entered the Muffin to get out of the rain with her bags. She had been to town to sell her old clothes and buy some new ones and had ended up buying several outfits in rather different styles. Setting the bags down a ways in, she paused for a moment to look over her current outfit. It wasn't anything special, a practical dress in a warm pink color that could probably be worn year round without too much discomfort. What was interesting was the way her body had changed since she left. She had gotten smaller overall, causing the dress to be just slightly too long in the skirt and sleeves. Also, her hair was blond and came to her back in a braid and her bangs came down to just above a pair of round glasses that framed her now bright blue eyes.

Finally, Richard tied the knot and picked the letter up again, frowning at it. On his way out of his room he picked up his leather book and one of the many manilla folders, going down the stairs while rereading the letter. He sensed magic, and glanced up smiling, which slid off his face immediately. Oh. He'd thought....his eyes swept the bar, but he didn't See Corinne. Unless...this was Corinne. "Excuse me miss..." He started, inclining his head. He then stood there, smiling still. "But you're awfully talented." It was Corinne's magic, no doubt.

Corrine smiled and gave a little twirl so that Richard could see her entire outfit. "Do you like it?" she asked, smiling back at him as she walked over and wrapped her arms around his waist, her new height putting her at eye level with his chest.

((I am sorry! Please forgive meeee! crying ))
Lou seemed to enjoy his days to rest because he had slept nearly the entire day once again, sleeping. He stirred awake and pushed himself upright with a wide yawn. He shook his body and stood hunched over on his back legs. He shuffled over to the fireplace to stoke it up and glanced over at the sleeping Vela. Why was he working so hard to make her comfortable? Perhaps because she was one of the only people to actually listen to him. The only person to speak to his soul instead of his body.

((Well, he is over six feet tall...it's be weird to for him to be looking at her eye to eye, wouldn't it?))
Richard smiled. "If you do, then yes. It's very lovely." He hugged her, looking curiously at her glasses. "...do you need those?" He wondered aloud, wondering if her illusion magic could do such a thing as alter her eyesight.

Vela could hear the wood moving around in the fireplace, and, could swear that she felt eyes on her. Even without honing skills, she could already sense people, and get the general idea of the room through its noises. It was true, it would seem, that her other senses were much sharper, now. Stirring a little bit, seeing no need to open her eyes, Vela snuggled into the blanket. She'd rolled over at some point, to face where Lou was sleeping, but, her foot had fallen out of the blanket. It had bothered her ever since, but, as was stubborn habit, she would refuse to get up and rearrange the whole blanket to fix it.

Lou heard the small movement and turned to look at her. "Good morning, princess." the beast greeted in a low grunt. "Sleepier than me?" He asked, walking around her bedroll. He picked up the upturned section of comforter and placed it back over her exposed foot. "I can get you another comforter if you'd like to lay on one and sleep under the other."

Vela sat up when he had said goodmorning, and was very grateful that he covered up her foot. "I am fine." She replied calmly. "Not really tired." Finally, she opened her eyes, and stared unfocusedly ahead of her. Her eyes tried to follow where his voice resounded from, however kind his words may have been. "You slept well, then?" She asked, though part of her recovering mind tried to remind her that she really did not care.

((>.< I'm 6'4" so I tend to overlook 6'1" as "tall"))
Corinne smiled and shook her head, her braid swinging with the motion. "I just thought they looked cute," she said, reaching up and taking them off carefully. "But I want your opinion," she said, poking the man in the chest.

Louise paused before moving on. He sat down near her on the floor, hoping she could hear the smile in his voice. "I slept amazingly. Best sleep I've had in months." He said, nodding to himself. He stared down at his front paws. Just two days ago, he looked down at human hands... It would be a whole month before he could look at them again. When was the last time he got to snuggle under a blanket on the couch or even a bed? Not since he was cursed, at least. No blanket was large enough for him to 'snuggle' under. "How did you sleep?"

((*Laughs* He's really broad though, 'giant of a man'. I'm five foot one...*sniffles*))
Richard chuckled. "My opinion? I'm not the one who's going to be wearing your dress." He knew what she meant, was joking slightly. He seemed thoughtful then. "I don't care if you decide you'd like to be a seven hundred foot lizard with garlic breath Corinne..." He said softly, studying her. "I like the bangs...and the glasses are cute." He agreed.

"Very comfortably." She replied, voice calm and cool as she situated the blanket around her. Offering one arm out, Vela was feeling.. Unusually comfortable. "Share?" She asked, holding the blanket open with her arm. He may not be human, by appearance, or whatever, but, neither was she. Nekos were hardly ones to judge. But, she was veyr able to hide her appearance from the world. Things must've been quite different for him.
