The Tower burst into flames. Ginji just starred. "Now we REALLY Have to get over there." he said as the illusion shifted to the Brass Tower. Fuzzy images were everywhere. Some could be recognized as Tyranitars, or some other giant green blob, others as a silvery...thing, and a black...thing? The Brass Tower continued to burn in the black flames that looked much like the outside of Darkrai's Ultraball.

"Records say that the Brass Tower was hit by lightning and burned for 3 days before a heavy rainfall fell from the sky..." Ginji mused as he looked up at the blurry black flames. The seemed to go on forever.

Sammy explained to Mai, "That's one of the famous towers of the legendary pokemon... or it used to be... Appearantly, this is an illusion of some sort...?" The last portion of her statement was meant more to be a question for Mr. Ginji.

Ike was taken back. What happened to his friend?
"Maddy..." he quietly said, taking a half a step back.
Her threats only angered the guardian. Lugia came down on Maddy with a thunderous cry as a Light Screen shrouded Ikarizu, along with Celebi, and lifted them in the air.
"Lugia! STOP!" he yelled to no avail. Lugia continued his dive toward the girl from Pallet.

Maddy glared at the Pokémon and took a Pokéball from her belt. The ball burst open to reveal Haschel, Maddy's Primeape, and the ape jumped at Ike and shattered the protective barrier of light that was surrounding him. Maddy then threw the ball of fire that was in her hand at him, aiming towards his chest.

Ike was sent flying by the blast ten feet backward, landing hard on his back. Lugia fired a powerful Aero Blast at the Primeape, getting a direct hit. Ike stumbled back to his feet, staring at Maddy. Celebi flew out of Ike's messenger bag and hid behind him, peering over at Maddy.
"What the hell are you doing?" he bellowed out at Maddy.

"I have been okay. Unfortunately I was kicked out of two towns. I was actually accused of being a madman. I don't get that though because I am obviously not a man. Wahh! I was still eating too. Just because I tend to do weird things doesn't mean you should kick me out." Mai said still confused. Mai looked at Lili, her squirtle, which was sitting on her lap. "Oh yeah! This is Lili! She's a tad bit shy at first so don't say weird things or scare her." she said.

Maddy's eyes lingered on Celebi for a few moments. "Just make it easier on yourself. Hand over Celebi." She released Rai from his Pokéball as she returned Haschel, the battle-ready Raichi shooting powerful currents of lightning at the enraged Lugia. Maddy shot another ball of fire at Ike, and immediately readied another one, the purple flame casting shadows on Maddy's face.

Ike this time was ready to dodge the fire as it came, but did little good. He had dived to the side into a role, but the fire had hit and twisted his ankle. He went tumbling to the ground and after coming to a complete stop, Celebi flew over to Ike, its hand to its mouth, not sure what to do.
Lugia was hit with the first two lightning bolts, and after which, he produced another light screen around himself. He then swooped down to pick Ike and Celebi up. Ike flinched at moving his ankle.
Ike's mind was rushing. Something had happened to Maddy. She had become ten times more powerful somehow. Her attacks along with her pokemon's attacks had become very strong. Lugia might not be able to defeat all of Maddy's fighters. Ike's other Pokemon.... weren't with him... they were... back at the HQ...
"Aquos Island!" yelled Ike.
Lugia listened this time and started to fly south, but not without first leaving Maddy a few Aero Blasts aimed directly at her.
