Vergil watched as jorg calmed down and fell asleep on his lap. A little while later Vergil fell asleep while jorg kept snoring loudly. Vergil enetered a horrible dream in his life, the day he quit the 9 knights of Fourtuain(fourtuain is the name of a country vergil used to live in [of course its made up]) Vergil as a knight number 9  this is general wrath knight number 1  Zarg and Zarv knights 2 and 3  repule knight number 4  Xiox knight number 5  Zelot knight number 6  Zouron knight number 7  lefteria(vergils crush......she will die soon) knight number 8

She was half asleep on the couch when Piyo ran in. Jumping she eyed the green eyed boy with slight annoyance. Shrugging she stood up and wandered behind the bar. Grabbing some food she plopped down in the stool and munched on the dangan she had taken.

Outside:
Elfir looked up, noticing a statue some distance away. Upon closer inspection... it appeared to be some sort of dragon; as well, it seemed to be a fountain. "Weird..." he mumbled, stroking his chin, when he suddenly heard a gasp behind him. He whirled around in time to see panda-eared head disappear into a leafy tree trunk. "Oh great..." he grumbled; Mew was stalking him. She'd changed since he left. He goes missing, she's angsty; he comes back, she's still angsty. "I see you..." he muttered in the direction of the tree. "Have you been stalking us?"
In the Tavern:
Piyo gasped and clutched both sides of his face. "S-s-s-SAKURA!!!!" he squealed, jumping up and down in excitement. He dashed toward her and glomped the older kitsune enthusiastically. "Hiya! Hiya! Hiya~! Hey, where've ya been??? Wait.... um... yeah.... um... Hey, I'm hungry!" His keen nose suddenly twitched and he skittered over to the counter. Finding the source of the smell, he also found what seemed to another kistune behind the bar; this one, however, seemed to be more grouchy than Sakura. "Um... hiya! Um... I'm Piyo... um... that smells good! Oh, um, I mean, who're you???"

Sakura, hugging Piyo back, got down on one knee to look him in the eye. "Would you like rice? Or some waffles?" her tails curled around his playfully as she waited for a response. Smile fading, she looked past Piyo to the door, sniffing the air tentatively. "Piyo...is Elfir out there?"
"I'm not stalking you! You are the one who showed up here!" She shouted from within the tree. "Do you like the statue there? Pat her head at speak to her using her name! Suii!"

"Erm.... yeah- hey wait! Do you know him?? Yeah, he's out ther- wait, are you talking about the same Elfir? Cuz there could be tons of guys named Elfir, but he's got a scarred face, and black hair, and he looks mean, but he's nice, 'cept for when you wake 'im in the middle of a nap, then he's funny cuz he saiz he's gonna make a noose outta my instestines; I don't even know what those are, but I think they're in my throat!" Panting heavily, the hyper little kitsune resumed his barrage. "Oh! Oh! Um... I'll have... I want what she has!!" he exclaimed, his finger pointing rigidly in the direction of Ooka.
Elfir grunted; she did have a point. So she wasn't stalking him; but he wasn't gonna hang around and try to (hopelessly) comfort an emo teen if she put on the waterworks again. "Hah, waterworks," he thought, his mind switching back to the statue. So that was... Suii? "How'd she get like that?" he asked, preparing to zone out. Why should he pat her head anyway; I mean, sure he wasn't happy about her being turned into a statue, but why should he break his back going into an in-depth investigation over someone who had never once even varified his existance?

Sakura smiled, reaching into her sleeve and pulling out a piece of Dango. She smiled, although it was strained. "Nope; Only one Elfir." She straightened up, walking past Piyo to the door. "Just hang out here, okay Piyo? Just for a minute." She stepped outside and stopped; staring straight at Elfir.
"Beneath her is Sheldon! She died like that to preserve his grave! She loved him; and he died! So.....she died too..."

Piyo, losing interest quickly, popped back to the counter, only the top half of his head visible as he continued to stare at Ooka's dangan. "Wahhh... yummy...." he whispered covetously, drool falling from his mouth.
Elfir shrugged. "And I care why? Look, I could care less about all this "love" and stuff, 'kay? I find it stupid; look, they're both dead. See, they're dead? Okay?" He growled and began to stomp off. "I swear... frickin' lovebirds, always ending up getting me screwed over one way or another; stupid romance..."

Sakura, ears motionless, stepped out of the shadows slightly. "Elfir?"
Myu made no sounds from within the tree. The only noise heard from her was the soft 'pit-pat' of tears falling through the leaves and hitting the dirt floor.

Elfir stopped and turned around once more, brow furrowed. "Urg..." he groaned. Bad enough he had already run into Mew and left his disraught, now Sakura had found him, too? "Piyo... I'm gonna get ya fer this..." he muttered under his breath. Frankly, he was a merc; always had been. Talking, these battles of intellect and emotions? Forget about it. He didn't care for "love"; from all he'd seen, it was a waste of time. Spend your time chasing a girl, finally catch up and get your heart broke, or vice-versa; he'd watched and learned from the mistakes of others. It was pointless; he was a loner most of the time, anyway... And then Mew, ah Mew... yes, true, he'd been fond of her back then, but she'd been so carefree and happy, like... like a kid. And now, he was going to make her cry no matter what he did it seemed; might as well be frank with her, then. If she thought he'd be dragged into the hazy hell they called "love" or "romance" or whatever, she was sadly mistaken. He'd still be her friend, gladly, but... His mind going back to Sakura, he locked onto her with a stony gaze. "Now what?" he asked, exasperated.

She glared at him. "Now what? Damn it Elfir." A few tears streaked down her cheek; despite her attempts to hide them. "You were dead. Gone to us. I went to find your body; but found none." She shuddered as she hugged herself; looking quite sick. "I though I had eaten you; I didnt' eat anything and threw up multiple times for who knows how long after that...." She looked up from the ground to glare at him again. "And all you say is 'Now what?'"

"Yup," the merc replied, short, sweet, and to the point. What? Was he supposed to say "sorry" now? Why? So they could say, "Sorry won't cut it"? Might as well stay on the defensive. He looked right into her eyes and shrugged. He missed the good old days himself, byt they were probably never coming back now. How was he supposed to know they'd been looking for him? Frankly, during the days after he'd finally moved off, he thought they were all wrapped up in that "love" stuff, as it was when he had been around. He didn't figure he was missed, but anyway, if he was just gonna get yelled at coming over here, he'd fall out and head elsewhere; Piyo was a kitsune, so he'd catch up anyway; assuming he still wanted to hang out with a human now.

"Where did your Heart go Elfir? Not in the sense of a lover, because Yusa may kill you for liking me; but the heart you had once. Do your fallen comrades not pull at your mind? Do you want others to suffer the way you have because their friend has left them; and it's partly their fault?" She glared at him again. "I refuse to believe that you are the Elfir I once employed." Her tails waved at him; wanting to rub up on him. "If you look around for Saiai; though i doubt you will, You won't find her." She gave a pained look at the ground. "She's gone; just like you were."

Elfir shrugged nochalantly, turning back around. "Your point? It's too much of a hassle, if ya ask me..." An odd half smile crept across his face. "Do I miss y'all? Yes, I do." At this point, he turned toward the tree Mew was concealed in. "I'd... I'd been on the road for... so long... and when I finally come back, no one seems happy to see me, only angry for being gone. No thanks; I'd much rather stay gone." He could never explain it to them; that was only half the truth; the whole time he'd been wandering the roadsides, he'd been... absorbed... in his own black thoughts; that they were too busy running around pursing their little romances to ever bother looking for him those two days he'd laid on that rock, saved only by his cursed ring, sapping the essence of every bird, animal, seeking to devour his near carrion body. He'd finally sapped enough strength to allow him to venture off, only to find the forgotten, rotting corpses of Bubby and Kokou in that cave... Had to bury them himself, using Bubby's sword. And after that, he wandered the countryside, half out his mind; they had no use for those who had fallen; mere, simple humans with no ability was all those had fallen were to the staff at the tavern. Those thoughts had slowly poisoned his mind, and he grew bitter... Recovery was slowly making its way through him, now that he had the full facts... but explaining it all to them... how could he? Then they'd know what truly lurked beneath his gruff exterior, a true face more hideous than any mask. Well, they could forget that, then. Elfir began to advance into the darkness once more.

she looked at the young kitsune with mild curiosity. Sighing she turned so she was facing him fully and leaned forward, her ears twitching towards Elfir and Sakura. "Can I help you young one?" she asked with a bored tone.
She walked from the tavern, her body rippled as she took steps towards Elfir. It was a water form of Ooka. Her crystal clear eyes were set straight for him, picking up speed she yelled out "Elfir!!" hoping to catch his attention.
{{sorry it took so long, i have been absorbed in a lot of stuff so yeah...xP
oh yeah and this is going to be the color i use for the elemental clones of Ooka. }}

Piyo hopped up further on the counter and leaned a bit close to the dangan in the other fox-lady's hand. "Erm.... maybe... Hey, what's that behind you?" he asked, taking the liberty to swipe a piece of dangan when she turned her head and hastily stuffing it down his gullet, feigning innocence when the grouchy fox turned back around. "I wav bisdaken" he mumbled around the lump in his throat.
Elfir, for the upteempth time that day, whirled to the sound of the voice, this time quickly bringing his shield up in front of his chest plate and bringing his axe into a defensive position. "Ah... this was the one that nearly mortally wounded me..." he thought, mind straying to the injury that had never fully healed, beneath his thick armor, oddly enough, directly above his heart. No matter what he had done, it remained raw, and thus he never removed his armor. "No... she wasn't in her right mind..." his conscience reminded himself; nevertheless, his wound kept the shield and axe in position. "So... Ooka joins us too, eh?" he asked gruffly.
