I'm just thinking aloud here, but it seems like Pit may be a important character to the story line here.
Like, the main good guy to counteract Meta Knight who, after Cultie speculation, seems to be drifting towards malicious intent. Oh Noes!

What happened to Mario? Did he avoid the subspace bomb's radius?
I bet you Pit finds him.

It'll be exciting to see how things work out. Now that you mention it, Meta Knight does have demon wings, whereas Pit is an angel... Hrm.

So that means that he could be a Vegeta type of guy, the loner villain that ends up helping out the good guys in the end and becomes a valued ally.
That would be cool if it ended up that way.

That would fit him perfectly I can see that as being it, that was his role in the TV show as well, he acted like he was bad, but in the end always helped Kirby out. (Yeah I used to watch it)

I like how you can charge his stuff, but not too long. Charging special attacks seems pretty neat, and I like how you can destroy his jet.
