Maximos didnt respond. That one white eye shown through the shade covering his face, and his lips and cheeks remained entirely still. That was answer enough for two friend such as this. He could tell by Tomorrows response or lack there of that he didnt understand in the slightest.
That was to be expected.
How could John understand life and death when he had only lived one life? It was doubtful he'd be able to understand it later, Maximos could see it on him...he could also smell it. John was afraid of death. And one people who are afraid do foolish things like run or fight the inevitable.
As John flew away shaking the ground around him yet again, Maximos watched, and then slowly turned his head back. He could see lives, the souls of everyday mortals attempting to live their lives in peace. The flash of blackish red that covered the area as fear overtook them for a moment. It reminded him of one thing...
Death was inevitable.
He turned back, kneeling low as his boots ignited rocketing him through the air leaving a swath of black in his trail as he made his way too, and then beside Tomorrow. Durem, eh?

As predicted, he wasn't asleep for more than thirty minutes before stirring awake from one of many small bumps in the road. It wasn't a startled stir, but the gentle waking from a nap. After a bit of grumbling to get his bearings, he looked around to see where they were. Ah, now he remembered.
"I thought you'd stop somewhere."

Ivan shrugged, and walked slower. "If you'd like to, we can. I saw this nice looking pond." His voice was lightly muffled by the surrounding forest.
Hooray for short posts!

"No, the walk was fine. I was outside... farther than I've been in a while. I'm thinking I'll go home now, and get something to eat. I'll get your pay to you as well."
Shortpost indeed.

Ivan would nod and smile, pushing the chair quietly back the way they had come.

When they reached the home, Fauger grunted and went farther inside-- Ivan was told just outside the gate that he could stand inside, out of the sun's direct glare and all. There was a small table there with a cheap-but-appealing vase, and a couple of chairs for waiting visitors.
Give him a minute to search in a different room, and he'd return with some cash in hand. Could do better, but for simply pushing a sleeping man around for an hour or so, it was quite nice.
"How's that for you, then?"

No where Siat had disappeared off too she had no idea, but she was once again alone within the bus town, and she was craving some coffee. With a bounce she began to make her way over to the closest coffee shop, hopefully finding where her acquaintance had ran off too. On the way past one of the large windows into a candy shop it seemed, the rabbit stopped for a few minutes.
She really REALLY REALLY needed a hair cut, at this point in time the flipped out red locks that she had, well...turned into a mop. Madison sighed as she attempted to move her ears out of the way. But naturally, no matter what she did her long snow white rabbit ears managed to get in the way in every which direction.
Then it struck her, she knew didn't know anyone who gave haircuts within this small town, so she was going to take matters into her own hands. Literally. Now the only thing she had to worry about was loosing an ear or something, but at that moment it really wasn't her major concern. A large grin formed on her face as she began to make her way to a more 'private' area to do this, there she would have more concentration. The question was, where?
Lightly her finger tapped her nose slightly as she looked around her surroundings, how clever! A back alley! She grinned wildly as though she was a five year old at Christmas and she darted towards it. The haircutting process was going to begin.

It was mucky, gross, and well an small alley way in a town, what more could you expect? Quietly, Madison began to search for her supplies for this operation, and yet there was really nothing aside from a puddle and a few garbage bags. She thought about ripping the bags open, but she knew that would be rather messy.
"Hmmmm..." She peered over the garbage bags even more so and poked it slightly with her gloved hands. With a quick movement she returned to her upright position and gazed at the bags in a baffled manner. Perhaps this wasn't a good idea. But then again her hair was still getting in the way. In frustration, she quickly crossed her arms and tapped her foot.
What was she going to do?

Damrius walked down a crowded street, his focus on the partially folded newspaper he had in his hands. it was an old newspaper, and he was reading about the events that took place in Barton Town a while back.
Damrius wadded up the paper into a ball, and tossed it into an alleyway, stopping only to look at the oddities of a specific store.
Great, just what needs to happen. More undead creatures. It's almost like everywhere I go there has to be something that isn't completely dead, and walking around killing people. Oh well, other people can handle this.

Madison continued her frustrations quietly to only soon have a wad smacking her on the side of the head, waking her back into reality. She rubbed her head slightly as she picked up the crumpled piece of newspaper. "Ow..." Looking around, she then moved out of the alley and looked around. Her attention was quickly drawn to the back of some blonde man's head. She wasn't completely aware if he was the one who tossed it at her, but he was her target. She then tossed the paper back at him, hitting the back of his head.
"Don't Litter! It's bad!"

Damrius felt the paper smack the back of his head, bounce off, and roll to his left. he stood up, looking around for a moment, and then he heard the familiar voice telling him Littering was bad.
Well, I'm sorry, Madi.
Damrius said this, and turned around to face his friend. They hand't seen eachother for... well, for a while, and Damrius looked way different than he had before. Mostly by 10 years and being much taller and a bigger muscle build.

Now this would have been a perfect Kodiak moment, for Madison's face simply sat wide eyed and with a jaw drop. She didn't know who this person was per say, but she did know that this man new her somehow. But then again, she knew a lot of people. Crossing her arms, she then raised an eyebrow at this gentleman in curiosity.
"Well you better be, Mister....mister....err....."

Damrius let out a small laugh. he couldn't help it, for the look was amazing.
It's me, Damrius. Sorry if I scared you after the Tournament, but It's a long story that can't be discussed here.
Damrius said, his voice dropping as he moved closer to Madison.
Anyway, what were you doing in the alley?

Now Madison's face didn't change one bit...she was in fact now in more shock than before. She then managed to get herself together and sputter some words out.
"DAMRIUS!?!" A few people turned to look on why she was practically screeching. She then shook her head and regained her focus.
"You look good, very nice. Sorry I didn't recognize you...I mean....You're tall now." That was indeed true, the last time she saw him they were the same height, and now he was a tree. She smiled wickedly at him in thought of how he looked before. She then meant to answer his question as she looked back at it. Funny, she was just hanging out in there only a few moments ago.
"I was going to cut my hair" Madison was completely modest about it too.

Err.... They have a barber for that, you know? And thank you, you too. But also, WHY do you want to cut your hair?
Damrius said this, and stepped to stand at her side, getting out of people's ways.
