Ups and downs, you know life . . . School is very hard, and somewhat disappointing, and family has it's stresses. Truth be told, not much has changed over the years. What about you? How is college treating you?

I can understand that all to an extent. Eh, college hasn't been bad. You always get 1 bad room mate (not that surprising given it's 4 to a room), and I'm just ready to be done. *is graduating in May*
It's great to see you again as well, Magni. I've missed you and the refuge a lot. It just feels like home here... A "refuge" in another sense. wink

I dont get to graduate that soon . . . turns out I am looking at mid 2014 before I get my Masters. crying then again, I am not in college dorms, so my roomies are my family. Sorry you got an asshat, but unfortunately, that happens.
Yeah, I try to make it welcoming, and be there for people. I still lament that the RP died for the most part, but as you pointed out long ago . . . that was Gaia, not the Refuge. I have accepted that, but it still makes me feel bad. sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop

A while still ahead of you... Getting a Master's degree will be worth it in the end, though. I plan to go for Masters and hopefully Doctorate later. Eh, roommates happen; not a big deal.
I can understand those feelings, given that it happened while the Refuge was under your supervision. Well, I suppose we can just be glad there's still some activity. Even then, it's certainly a convenient place to chat w/some oldbies.

Very true! I keep this place moving even if it is all but autonomous anymore. I still wanna see old people.
I also am headed for my Doctorate, but the Masters is more possible right now. I am working towards that . . . even if it takes me a long time. Too late to turn back now! sweatdrop

Yeah, take your degrees one step at a time. You've got a lot going on w/ work and a family. Going for advanced degrees in that situation takes a lot of time.
Sorry about that, Ruined! wink
