As for the other bit
Honestly, for the more recent bits it's what happens when I end up watching Anime too much xp but in the past when I tell people I'm half blind and it messes with my drawings I mean proportions are the first to get screwed up and given how often it happens accidentally well.... It's a bit of an extension of that that it carries over to Lina as a character since more often then not that's the part of her that changes the most whenever I've tried to draw how I picture her looking. Usually that really gets stuck in my mind when after seeing the reject 'to be burned' drawing pile's average bust size.
xp I keep myself in check for a lot of the other proportion screw-ups that get in my head though.
