Synge huh? Funny how we are all connected somehow...
*Fire was reffering to Ash, herself, and the girl. Synge though probably would not have gotten the reference*

*Rhodes grins to herself at Fire's pain , it brought her satisfaction. As for Dueros she didn't fear him, there was something in him that she saw in herself. Aykon, she felt, worried to much. She shook her head and stood up, not really wanting to hear what he had to say. Every time her life settled down and everything was going to be fine, there was always some drama that uprooted it all. And it always happened at the Darkseas, back home it was simple.
Rhodes' hands went behind her neck and she fumbled with something then after a few moments she hands Aykon the sunstone he created for her.*
"Here, I don't need it anymore."
*She steps out in the sun and gives him a half sad look.*
"And don't worry about me."

But this sucks...big stuff is happening and now Gaia is giving me pagination errors... *bleh.* )) *Aykon could feel the sinking getting worse...as soon as Rhodes stood up, he rose up with her to stand next to her, his face already starting to grow darker.*
*When you hand him the Sunstone, he stares at it in disbelief for a moment, this almost seemed to be the embodiment of their relationship. His hand gently shut on the cold obsidian object but then his eyes lit up in fear as you walked out in to the sun.*Rhodes...what are you...this isn't... *He saw her reflection in the surface of the stone and she seemed so far off. He felt the tears wanting to come but he couldn't change that now.*Rhodes...I never wanted it this way...I do love you...I love you so much that I almost couldn't tell you this. Why are you standing in the sun without this? If you do it too long you'll be very sick.... *He continued to hold the stone in his hand but he felt his grip weakening.*

*Rhodes eyes Aykon what was he going on about she wasn't ending anything.But then she realizes he's actually talking about telling her about Dueros. She still felt no worry about that.*
"I won't get sick Aykon.. "
*Her eyes fall to the necklace which she loved, but it wasn't needed anymore.*
".. the clan.. they brought me back.. I well.. I was declared the Elder.. I get all my old abilities back..I "own" the clan now."
*The vampire laughed remembering how she had received the letter, and why she has been absent so much. She had wanted to tell him but their frequent bad timing had seen that she hadn't.*

So...you are the Elder of the Ventrue? That's wonderful...but I also fear that means you will be gone alot...What do your duties entail?
*Aykon realized he might have overreacted but to him, the necklace had a sentimental value so when it was removed, he had been rather concerned,.*

*Rhodes takes a moment to think of all her new duties, which weren't all that many, as for abilities now there was a list.*

*Aykon still seems like he's in a daze, he sees Rhodes' hand and then he reaches for it, letting his hand gently touch yours, the charm dangles on his wrist.*
If I do that...I will have to rework this thing, but that's ok...maybe I can make something better.
*Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion for a moment as he thought about the situation, he hadn't stopped touching Rhodes' hand and he finally turns to her, his demeanour awkward.*
Sorry if I am so needy...I just like having you here...its quite a life when I feel like the love of my life is gone more than she's here. I am happy that you are succeeding, but what does all this mean for us? I mean...I have picked you over Fire but that doesn't mean I will allow you to hurt her, despite her Lycan blood. Do you still like being here with me?

*She stops herself from saying anything else on that matter. Rhodes was trying to make things work but it seemed as if Aykon purposely made things harder. Yeah she would be gone quite a bit, but Aykon was gone for six months without any visits in between, she would only be gone here and there. This was a different situation.*
"Instead of asking me that, why don't you ask yourself if you can handle things, because it doesn't seem like you can."
