Derek stopped his kicking as he saw the blue flames on the sword beginning to form and shot at him. Derek saw the incoming fire and placing his arm in front of him as he used his other hands to cover his eyes. They wouldn't know it yet but Derek covered his body in his wavelenght protectin him from the flames, when it hit he moved his arm from his eyes and could see their figure im the flame not having enough time to move he put his arms agains the incomig attack making the blade clash with his arms. He kept his titan shield up for a bit longer but since he was out of pratice it took more then he expected. Disabling his ability Lacey would be piercing Derek's arm slowly but not to deep as his blood began to run down the blade. ► They knew something was up when flames weren't causing and damage but Lacey soon concluded he was using some type of protection. As the blade made contact with him she tried to ease from pushing too hard. When she saw his blood run down the blade she stopped adding pressure not intending to cause any major injure, Huh thanks, But of course that's not the trick we know. After taking the kick she fell to the ground before stumbling back up with scraps covering her legs and arms. Before she would be able to pull away he grabbed Lacey from her blade and one of his hands on Lucy and squeezing her wrist he wanted o make her loosen her grip on her sister. I will say you are surprising me but how long will you be able to hold your sister till your wrist is broken? he question squeezing it harder hearing a little crack.
