Luke rolled his eyes some and cuddled with the teacher. But he smiled and stayed close. He was actually really liking Kaya. Moreso now since she had a playful side.

Kaya had thought that cuddling like this with someone she barely knew would be awkward, but with Luke it just felt relaxing. She even began to drift off as Kaitani returned and curled up behind them, propping the two teachers up.

Luke eventually nodded off again in Kaya's arms. Now that Kaitani was back, the wolf was able to fully relax and fall right to sleep.

Once his two caretakers were asleep, Kaitani moved around a bit, tucking them into the large coat Kaya had brought and wrapping himself around them.

After a couple hours, Luke was back awake. He saw that he and Kaya were tucked into his coat. He smiled some as he nestled close to Kaya, enjoying the moment while she still rested.

Kaya murmured something in her sleep, then cuddled a little closer to Luke. "...Sleeping...Not now...Go away...Ilsen..." she muttered those words quietly, but clearly over the course of a few minutes. Once she was finished, she again muttered that she was sleeping and told someone to go away before resting her head on Luke's shoulder.

Luke looked to her, listening to her talk in her sleep. There was that Ilsen again.... Luke sighed some as he just listened. Was he a sibling? Or maybe... a love Kaya already had... Great. Now he was depressed again...

Then, Kaya smiled a little in her sleep. Now that Luke was a little stiller, she was no longer reminded of her brother's poor attempts at waking her up and her dreams resumed.

Luke jsut sat with Kaya, feeling sad again. It was jsut this Ilsen that made him feel so uneasy. He really wanted to get to know Kaya better, but not if she already had a lover.

Kaitani had woken up when Kaya had accidentally nudged his tail and the sleepy dragon blinked at the wolf demon-who was looking a little bit older already. "Is something bothering you?"

Luke looked to Kaitani and shook his head some. "Mother's spell must be wearing off. I feel terrible..." he mumbled, his voice also shifting back to his older half.

Kaitani frowned and put his nose against Luke's arm. A small frost began to cover the wolf, not cold enough to cause him any pain or discomfort, but enough so to numb the pain going through his body. The dragon then yawned, his energy significantly depleted from his usage of his powers. The creature rested his head against the wolf, closing his eyes and slowly falling to sleep.

Luke watched as Kaitani spread a thin frost over his aching joints. He smiled some as the pain soothed away, petting the sleeping beast. He hoped Kaitani would stay at the castle. Be his other friend.

In Kaitani's dreams, he saw a collection of dragons, all the same silvery color as he, but with great scales. He'd begun to grow a few around his massive paws, but other than that he had no scales. But he knew immediately who his parents were, and he watched as they flew towards the cave he lived at. They were a few days' journey away, but clearly returning just for him. Their voices echoed in his mind, asking him to come home. But he frowned. He pictured Luke-Wolf-With-Steaks and shook his head. The wolf was no longer just a food provider and someone who had rescued him--he was like his father now.

Luke watched over the dragon as the young reptile dreamed. He wondered what dragons dreamed about. But maybe this wasn't the best time to try and ask. So the wolf sat there, back to his original age, and rubbing his aching joints. The frost had melted quickly, leaving the wolf back in pain and feeling his age...
