Nikolaus saw as one by one, his faithful and dear soldiers were slaughtered quickly by a force he could not see. He clenched his fists, ignoring his son now and turned to the barrier with pure hate filled eyes. This revenge went farther than him now, it went to his loyal subjects that had followed him into battle. They weren't fighting for themselves, they were fighting for him. All because they loved him, loved his father.
Nikolaus's whips turned into a single sword, made of nothing but pure light energy. He controlled light, could manipulate it to do whatever he wished. It could just be exhausting sometimes. Running over next to the barrier he began striking at the barrier, with each blow he put in more energy and strength, determined to break through. He was angry, and feeling very crazed at this moment. As he was striking at the barrier, his grip on the blade slipped once and flung out of his hand. Instead of bouncing off, it merely flew right through, piercing into the ground. He stared on in shock, unbelieving of what he's discovered. Then an evil grin spread across his face.
The light blade, pierced into the ground, soon began shifting in shape. It grew larger, Nikolaus manipulating the light from the other side. He didn't need to use magic for it, only the energy of his aura. The light finally emerged in the shape of a large wolf on it's hind legs, gripping a sword in it's hand. Wolves were a symbol of Odin, and this was one way to respect his grandfather. The Light Wolf was only a shape, having no color but just an outline. It was there yet it wasn't. It wasn't the strongest of things, but it could cause damage. Killing it physically was impossible, since it wasn't a tangible creature. It had to be destroyed with pure energy, and nothing else.

Ari looked up at the mention of Sam. The demons on Nikolaus’ side of the barrier seemed to be dying. What a pity. Take that, you jerk, Ari thought grimly. Then she saw Nessa. Nessa was in front of Nikolaus, only holding a spear. ”s**t,” Ari muttered. Concentrating, she teleported away from Musica and appeared right behind Nessa. ”I got you,” she said to her friend, who smiled. ”… that better be a relic or something. That’s the only thing that can pierce his armor.” Nessa smiled again. ”… yeah, it’s something like that. Hey listen, I may need to borrow your powers.”
Ari reached out to Nessa with her new found telekinesis. ’What do you mean ‘powers’, plural? I only have one…’ Nessa shook her head, a wicked smile on her face. ’Oh no you don’t! You have two, courtesy of Musica and Nikolaus. Now, here’s what I want you to do…’

Aphrodite let out a cry in the now-empty infirmary. Something got passed the barrier! She couldn't sustain this much longer... even as a Goddess, she was growing weary. She had her own half to bear as well as some of the Headmistress'.

{{Alrighty! All caught up! biggrin }}
Ever gasped as she saw her friend's new appearance and then saw her control the wind to attack and kill the demons. That was pretty damn cool.
She sighed and shook her head at Kilala, though. "Kilala, does it look like I can do something right now? A battle is kind of going on here, and why mess with Akira right now when she just killed all of those demons? Worry about it later when we have time to."
She gasped when she saw something go through the barrier. She had seen Nikolaus throw... something. She had only seen it out of the corner of her eye, so she didn't know what it was. All she saw now was a wolf. That wasn't good.
She put Kilala back on the ground so that she wasn't on her shoulder anymore and she ran over to the wolf. She held up one of her hands and her eyes flashed red.
"Stop! You are on protected ground here and you cannot go any further. You will be destroyed by the guardians at this school."

The light wolf looked down at Ever, or at least it appeared to. It had no eyes, mouth, or nose. The wolf was only the shape of a wolf, no features were otherwise seen. It didn't appear as if it understood what she said, nor was it going to speak. The creature couldn't speak anyway. It held it's sword tightly, since it was pretty much attached to the creature, and lifted the light blade high above his head. Swiftly the creature brought the blade down, hitting Evermore in the side. It wasn't enough to kill her or create a wound, but it would knock her down on her side. The wolf moved around her sluggishly, dragging it's feet along in one direction. To the Lake.

((Did anybody delete my "good night" post? Oh well, one more post, then I'm off for the night))
Kilala just sighed; this was going nowhere...But Evermore was right...Oi, she just wanted her master back to normal!!!
Akira grinned, satisfied with her work, and let the wind die down, taking a deep breath. She then glanced over at the rampaging Nik, raising an eyebrow.
Stretching and not caring that the Demi-God was pissed off or stopped attacking the barrier, she sat down Indian style, watching the Fury attempt to stop some glowly wolf form.
Kilala reluctantly went over to Akira and snuggled close, letting her girl stroke her back softly.
"Well, I'm bored...Unless I get anymore missions from that lady in the lake, I think I might just crash or something...Maybe cause my own chaos..."

{{Looked down at Ever? Oh boy... I did not know it was that tall! Cool! biggrin }}
Ever yelped softly as she was knocked down to the ground, but she wasn't hurt or anything. So, she quickly did a back flip from the ground and then landed on the wolf's back... or at least she tried to. She went right through it!
Ever didn't have time to be shocked. She had to stop the creature from getting to the lake! She knew what was down there, though she was pretty sure that this creature didn't. He was probably going after the headmistress to kill her and destroy the barrier!
Ever held out her hand and caused a fireball to land directly in front of the wolf. It quickly lit the ground around the wolf on fire in the formation of a circle.

The Light Wolf didn't even flinch as the fire appeared around it in a large ring. It had no mind, Nikolaus was it's mind. As it stepped closer to the edges it began to blur as the heat intensified. But as soon as it touched the inner part of the fire it cleared up, and it continued moving uninhibited. As soon as it was out of the ring it continued on it's slow path to the lake, Nikolaus not realizing that another Light controller was there as well.

Arielle stared in horror for a brief moment at the wolf, then she walked forward. Unlike most people, Arielle was not slowed when she walked in water; it seemed almost to part for her. Her water nymph blood was doubtlessly the reason for this. But when she raised her hand and yelled, "Halt!"* her German blood was the reason. But she knew that it could not be living, and it, therefore, could not think. The action had simply been habit.

When it came across to Arielle, Nikolaus caused the creation to stop as if pondering it's next move. He could tell this was the main energy source for this cursed barrier, and he must rid this place of her to gain entrance to the school. Maybe even create a Light Soldier army. The Wolf though was still not the strongest in the world, and the only way it could really kill her was to bludgeon her to death. The Light Wolf slowly got closer, still dragging it's feet along the ground, but really it wasn't even walking. It was all just a visual, to give shape to the giant mass of viscous light.

Arielle scowled at it and then grabbed at her neck for the pendant of magical spring water that she always kept there--
Only to find it was gone.
And then she remembered that she'd used it to create this barrier as a sort of exchange. She backed up, but only enough to be more submerged in the water. The water would help her, even though she wasn't sure that her nymph powers would work. She would have to think more like an elf, but the water was keeping her refreshed, in addition to the spirits' aid.
