Nox smiled, and, taking her hand, pressed his lips to her knuckles, bowing slightly. "It's a pleasure to meet another who enjoys the taste of blood. Tomokazu-san mentioned that there were some here who were like me in that respect."
He seemed to finally remember that something other than blood existed in the world, and he noticed the girl sitting across the room. "Ah, if you will excuse me for a moment, Miss River, I should go take her order. I am a waiter, after all." With a smile, he made his way to where Ukaia sat.
"Good evening, my name is Nox, and I'll be your server for the night. What may I get you?"

Lifting the cup, she smelt the soiled drink before taking a sip of it, calmly letting her eyes cascade over his face once, twice. He wasn’t bad looking then again most creatures weren’t unless they where of demon decent or human. So in his case the matter was set that he indeed was a strange creature, She has heard of vampire being beautiful but did she believe those stories? No. Nodding to him she couldn’t help the smile that slipped across her face, polite, what a swaying male creature. “Is that so? Tomokazu has such a way with describing things. I am no longer a resident of this Inn though; personal matters.” Then again there where rumors of that as well-there tendency to be overly flattering-thankfully River wasn’t one to fall head over heels for these guys.. “ Not a Problem, Nox. Do your job I’m not going anywhere…” She muttered calmly taking another sip of the tea.

"welcome to the Demented muffing. I'm Ukaia a resendent. I'll jsut take a glass of crema and a sandwich please" Ukaia said to him quietly. she hadent' once looked over at river and barely lifted her head to speak to Nox
"i'm sure you'll enjoy it here Mr. Nox" Ukaia added to him

"Ah, please, there's no need to speak to me so formally, Miss Ukaia. I am here to serve you, after all," he said with a smile. "One glass of creme and one sandwhich, comming up!" he chimed.
As he made his way back to the kitchen, he mused over the obvious tension between the two women. He hopped he hadn't landed himself in the middle of a cat-fight waiting to happen.
He poured the glass of creme and made a sandwhich to the best of his limited abilites, and brought them back out to Ukaia. "Here you are, miss, though I'm sorry if the food isn't to your liking... I'm new at this business."

The sudden feeling of Hostility rushed over River making her inwardly frustrated with herself. She’d have to patch things up sure but she wouldn’t ever-Ever make a relationship closer then friendship with the cat woman again. That was understandably seeing as Ukaia wouldn’t want that from her. Kaden she loved Kaden, and so did Ukaia she couldn’t stop her from seeing him that would be cruel. Even though she was a creature of great distaste to cat people and human alike she would respect them no less. No matter what the affair, the hate would be personal not public.
“Ukaia, Kaden came to see you yesterday…Where did you disappear to, you sneaky woman.” River sounded happy, content which was a good thing she wanted to make this seem normal. Which holding great distain towards someone was normal to her so-this task came easily thankfully. “I will bring him tomorrow night for you two to enjoy one another’s comfort if you are around? I would like that greatly.” River’s eyes fallowed Nox with a strange intensity her want to learn more about him was interesting even to the woman as her onyx eyes flickered over Ukaia once then fluttered back to the cup in her hands.

Arlen stumbled a bit as he reached the bottom of the stairs, but soon righted himself and glanced around the room, his eyes wide and curious. Noticing his grumbling stomach, he made his way over towards the bar, carefully stepping on tip toes and avoiding the cracks between the floor boards.

"Thank you. And no need for the miss. it's only Ukaia" She said standing and turning. Then stopped short She kept her bakc to river as she said plesently
"I would very mudh like to see him. I have the mirror in my room as you requested. As for where i went..." she trailled off for a moemt then said
"he was to busy with his new mother to notice me. I would like to see him tomorrow. I'm glad it will make you happy" she added as she began to head for the stairs once more. Yep, she shoudlnt'e ven bother coming down next time river was around.
"Thank you for the food Nox.. it looks wonderfull i"m sure it will be very tastey.

"Just Ukaia, then," Nox said, then made his way back to the bar. He notcied Arlen, and remembered him from his frist night at the club. "Ah, what would you like, sir?" he said with a smile, leaning over the bar to meet the child's gaze.

River watched, oh how it hurt Ukaia to know Kaden thought of River as his mother as well as her. She wanted to frown, but instead smiled like nothing was wrong because- if she showed she hated seeing the woman sad despite the tense moments they held-that would flaw her mind into confusion. Looking down she sighed softly knowing a relationship of friendship was hardly anything to them anymore. “Glad, I’ll set him here tomorrow I know he’ll be elated to see you.” She murmured, knowing she held the upper hand not being sad in the least about the situation. Not that she won, but that she got to keep her family. “Hello there…” River stated to the small child, not bothering to ask him for anything since, Nox took care of it with ease. He seemed pleasant for a vampire, for what he claimed to be. “Nox-san I would hate to be inquisitive on the subject, but may I ask you a semi-personal question?” She wouldn’t be rude to him. So far, she liked him as she did Sam; but this was different only because he was a blood sucker and not a snobbish rich boy.

"Thank you. I miss him" She said simply and then headed for the stairs easily. She missed having a vamily. Having more then just her job. She sighed quietly as she walked up the stairs. There woudlnt' be anyone in the room again. She was no longer hungery or thirsty. Both would be left on the beside to hopefully tempt herself to eat later. For now.. she'd just curl up in the bed.
((I hate playing emo Ukaia. This si so freaking borning. But works for now since i'll be heading to bed very shortly. I staye dup way late. Night!!))

"Ah, spaghetti... I'll.. see if I can handle that," he said, knowing full well he couldn't. How did one make spaghetti? Didn't you boil the pasta or something...?
He looked to River, still smiling. "Go ahead, I don't really mind that sort of thing."

“Ah, Let me help you cook for the boy…” She pointed out sliding off the chair. Standing at five feet three inches she wasn’t the tallest person but she could most certainly be the meanest if she tried. Her eyes scanned The boy, Arlen and she grinned at him, “It’ll be just ten minutes alright?” She said walking around the bar, eyes scanning the Stove top in a thoughtful manner, “I was wondering, How old you where? I know little about true vampires so I don’t know how long there life span is.” She stated softly inquisitively, “If it makes you feel at ease, I’m three hundred and twenty one. I’ll be Three hundred twenty two in November.” She pointed out tapping her chin, “I think…” she murmured puzzled shaking it off as she stalked around and opened a cabinet.
