Maddy looked down at the ground, trying to conceal her expression which had turned from blank to sad. "It's me hometown... It was the first image that popped into me head so I just... teleported us here..."

Ike sat on the couch staring oddly at Cody.
"You alright?" he asked.
"I don't know where I was born." said Wolfe randomly. An awkward silence followed.
...
"Yeah we should find a pokemon center to stay at." said Ike. "And we need to think of a better way to carry Celebi." he added.
"Well... I know for a fact the pokemon center in Veridian City aint built yet. The year's 1979, right?" he asked.
"Yeah..." answered Ike.
"Yup. The center built in Veridian was built in 1984. You know things when you travel." he said.
"...Right. Guess we'll camp here then... unless... Maddy, your grandparents live here? I know they wouldn't know you... but maybe they'd be hospitable." asked Ike.

"I'm fine. Let's do something. All my energy is cooped up inside these walls because no one is ever around to go outside with," Cody replied with an awkward maniacal laugh.

"Yup... And me mudder might be with them... Even though she's probably just a little kid now... I don't really know..." She looked up and examined her surroundings. Pallet Town still hadn't changed much. She immediately spotted her house. "Uhmmm..." There was a man standing outside her house, leaned up against the tree and looking in through the window. "It can't be..."

Ike was up early the next morning. He camped outside with Celebi thinking it was better no one in the past knew about all this mess. Celebi had taken a liking to Ike, hovering and floating around with glee. Celebi was the only one right now who really brought a smile to Ike's face. I didn't know why he felt so resentful toward everyone else lately. He had done some thinking about how to go about this time travel business and realized none of them really knew a lot about time travel... or in that matter... how to control Celebi's time travel abilities. It was something Ames told Wolfe yesterday.
"You idiot. You can't just ask Celebi to time travel." Ames had said. Ike started to believe it. The only reason they were in the year 1979 was because Celebi felt threatened and wanted to escape 2008. That only brought up more questions though. Why 1979? Why still hang out with the ones who wanted to capture it? Celebi had even taken a slight liking to Wolfe. As bizarre as Ike saw it, he accepted it.
He walked aimlessly around Pallet Town with Celebi, waiting for the other two to show up. He had a plan... if he could get them to when they needed to be.

*Hunter trudges his way through the cold and blustery wind on his way toward HQ. The weather had worn out Draking, so he set down as soon as he saw land, forcing Hunter to walk the rest of the way to the nearest teleporter. He stepped into the ring, carefully hidden beneath snow and foliage and disappeared, only to appear a moment later in the warm and dry HQ. After peeling off his sodden coat and hanging it up to dry, Hunter heads to the common room in hopes that he'll find someone there*
Me: Anyone around?

"I am." said Ike, coming out to the common room. He didn't think Hunter knew about everything that's been going on, so he figured he had a friend in him for the moment. "How's it been?" he asked.

Maddy was sitting in a tree near the outskirts of Pallet Town. She was looking over the hills. When she was a kid, this tree was a bit bigger, and she'd climb it everyday and justl look out at the horizon. She looked down at her hand, the purple scar gleaming, and chuckled a bit. Without really thinking, she held her hand out in front of her and concentrated, trying to test out something. But nothing happened. "..."

Kiara walked down the hall towards the common room, apparently tinkering with something in her hands. Nyoka was following her, making sure that the girl didn't run into a wall or anything. Honestly, in the short time the serviper had known her, he knew full well that when she was working on something she was liable not to pay attention to the world around her. Therefore, Nyoka had decided to himself to keep an eye on her while she was doing that.
"Fascinating," Kiara murmured quietly. It seemed to be her favorite word when she was messing around with different items, along with the word "interesting." She snapped the top down on the item in her hands- it looked rather like a watch- and turned to Nyoka, leaning against the doorway. She forgot to check if anyone was even in there, which was unusual. "Done, Nyoka." She offered the snake a tiny smile. Nyoka rolled his eyes expressively. "I know you like to keep an eye on me, but I really am done, this time. You can go do whatever it is you do if you want." Nyoka shook his head slowly, indicating that he would accompany her for the time being. Kiara sighed slightly and muttered something about "stubborn snakes."

MEAN WHILE.... BACK IN THE YEAR 1979.........
Ike and Celebi were hanging out on the edge of Pallet Town, waiting for Maddy and Wolfe to find him.
"I guess we should go look for them. How about it?" said Ike to his new buddy. Celebi, of course, followed. It was as if it was looking for friends to be with. Ike just hoped he was seeing Celebi as a potential new partner and a friend, and not just a tool to get back to his right time.

Maddy leapt down from the tree and turned to walk back to town. She jumped a few feet backwards when she almost walked into a young man who was standing right behind her. He was the same guy standing outside her "house" the other day. She blinked a couple times, now recognizing him. Tears welled up in her eyes. "Uhmm... I'm sorry. E-excuse me..." She quickly darted off, leaving the man to stand there and stare as she ran off.

Ike noticed Maddy running toward him comming up the road.
"You alright?" he said aloud as she began to approach.
From a house not too far away, A house door was open loudly as Wolfe came rushing out with some food. An elderly man yelled after him from his porch as Wolfe made his way over to Ike. Ike rolled his eyes as he kept his focus on Maddy.

"Hey Hunter," Cody said as he walked into HQ. "It's been a while." His energy had died down since no one would go outside with him. It wasn't cool. Lazy bums he thought to himself.
