I really wish my neighbors wouldn't play loud music at night. Especially after a long week when I've been up and doing work all day and would just like to relax. Just once, I'd like for it to be night time without my windows rattling.

Do you live in an apartment? If so, do you know their policy on loud music?
Do you know the local laws on noise pollution?

Do you know the local laws on noise pollution?I have and they ignored >.< I actually rent a house. Their house is some two car-widths away from ours. We can call and report the noise after 10pm to the police, but their stance lately has been "get over it." :/ Bleh.

Huh, you know, if I lived locally, I'd offer to swipe one of my brother's guitars, and his massive amps, and give them a small taste of their own medicine. ninja

Nuts, two shootings within a week of each other in the area I used to live in.
I mean, these were once my people. And it could just be unlucky coincidence, but I can't help thinking that something has gone very wrong.

I dunno what it is. These last few weeks I've been awfully drained. I keep wanting to do nothing but sleep, and my sinuses are acting up again. There's nothing I can do for them, and they're getting in the way of me doing things that need to be done. On top of that, my parents left me in charge of two people who don't like to listen to me for a month.
Waiting on a weekend >< Company comes over! Then they'll behave....

I'm nearly 26 and I found gray hairs, I take a lot of medications and still have unaddressed problems with my health. My dad thinks he's smarter than everyone else (even though he is probably the least educated aside from the baby.) He also thinks we can't survive without him to manage our lives...and he is in denial about his own need for medication for his mental health - which makes the rest of us need stronger medicines. He's also unemployed because of his alcoholism and he also lost his license. He think he carried the family all of our lives with his income and is helping enough by working in the house... even though his drinking and smoking problems cost us more money than anything... The good news is, once he finishes his DUI counseling in another six weeks, we are going to ship him off to live with his parents. Also, my job was recently bought by a bigger company and I have more room to advance and get paid to attend college as well. My benefits are much better and my pay is even better. Also, I am finally getting recognition for all the extra work I do, and maybe the financial recognition within the next few weeks if my review goes well.

Um, what the ********?
I'm not really sure why my roommate is addicted to bottled water. She just walked in with TWO CASES. The tap water here is FINE.
How can people be so goddamned wasteful?

The only time I can see getting bottled water is unless you're extremely OCD about the things in the water supply.

I lost another mouse last night. One of the twins, Hocus & Pocus, never could tell them apart so they had a paired name. She hadn't been well for about a week, and I knew she was on her way out. Monday I purchased everything I needed to aid in her passing, fully prepared to help her that night. But when I got home she was so active, wanting to come out and be held, she had started grooming herself again and I really thought she was making a turn around, even if only for a little while. So I didn't do it. Who am I to decide to make her go, when it was obviouse that she wanted to stay a little longer. Yesterday morning she was asleap in the nest when I left for work. When I got home, she was gone. She had curled up inside one of the TP rolls I give them to play in. She looked like she was sleeping, she seamed so peaceful. I hope your passing was smooth little one, I'm sure that Timmy will be happy to see you.

Arkansas water is flipping pristine, woman.
