Yashweh, Chelsea, Saleh

The lynx walked in cautiously, ears alert as he looked at his calm uncle. "Hello." he greeted softly, ears immediately lowering. It had been a long time since they had been alone without Elliot being hostile. How did he go about doing this? Walking forward his boots tapped lighty against the marble floor, looking around the Flower Room as though it was his first time seeing it. "How have you been, Uncle?" He asked, making his way to sit across from the man.

"Oh." Annabelle looked down. Her Mom wasn't dead but she wasn't allowed in the country anymore. It made her sad. Maybe that's the kind of sad her Dad and brother felt? Following Nix's orders she climbed the steps to the layloft, finding some cats and crawling forward with a smile.

Justin lifted his head at the sound of the door opening and closing. Had someone come in? The boy walked out still holding the shovel, seeing and hearing Nix. He bowed his head. "Hello." He murmured, "It has." was his only response, standing there and glancing at the floor. What was she doing here? You didn't just walk into the barn for no reason. It stunk of animal.

The white ears lowered a bit more at the mention of Elliot being used to the Prime Minister's insanity. It was true, he was rather used to it. It was mildly uncomfortable, and since the newly crowned king no longer hated the man, he had few ways to hide it. "Ah, no, you didn't do anything, Uncle. I just wanted to, apologize, for my past behavior." he started, "When, Mother, died, the whole country fell into mourning and I had been so close to her. Perhaps not as close as you and Father, but she was my Mother, and I know it was incredibly difficult for you and Father especially because you three were so close." He was rambling, there was no organization. "I didn't know, then, that your mental stability was rocky. I didn't know it would affect you so badly. All I knew was that I wanted comfort and my father was busy comforting you, which in hindsight is understandable. However because of that, because he chose you over me I grew to resent and hate you." He'd grown to hate his father too for a while.

"In hindsight I understand everything I did was wrong, rude, and uncalled for. You deserved none of my hate, all of which stemmed from ignorance. And for that I am terribly, terribly sorry." Elliot bowed forward a bit, ears flattened back in submission. He had just been a jealous child, a mourning child, and no one had been there for him. Was it right for his father to choose Lewis over Elliot? Perhaps not, but Elliot understood why he did it, so forgave them both.

"Maybe, I have more work after this." Not really, he was just, afraid. He'd copied his mother's ability last night just so he could feel her warm cheek against his. And she was warm, and her skin was sooft just like he'd thought it'd be. But someone had walked in asking for Justin's help and he went, touching the other person's hand. And he felt it, like, like he was sucking, inhaling. It was horrifying. he wasn't aware of it until a few seconds of hand holding but when he did, he... he didn't want to work with people. When his mother touched him he felt like something was leaving him, meaning he was no longer mirroring her ability but... but that feeling... "I have to make sure the carpets are on their walls and that curtains are closed after I'm through with the animals."

His ears perked, wondering why the man was walking over but stood up cautiously only to be embraced in a hug. Oh, okay. He hadn't expected this. He also expected quite a lot of crying. He hugged back a bit awkwardly, not used to physical contact with this man yet. It had been a while since he'd been given a sincere hug. The man still felt large. "It's nice not to be alone." Elliot had been alone far too long. "Do you still place chess?"

"Don't!" Justin's hand curled and tensed as though that would prevent the ability that was no longer in his skin. "I, just please don't touch me, princess." Dark eyes looked down before he shook his head. "It's okay. I can do all this by myself. I don't mind. The stable boy got hit by a horse so I'm taking over for now."

"It's all right, I assumed as much, I was pushing my luck in asking." Insted he bowed his head. "When you're feeling better is fine. There is no rush, Uncle. Relax and watch the flowers." Elliot normally thought to himself or slept when he was in a panic, but he thought that in Lewis' case it would end badly. "You could always try dancing. You focus on the steps instead. Enjoy your day again, Uncle." One last bow before turning to walk out. Off to do work.

Justin gave a weak smile, "I wish I could be as knowledgeable and as mature as you, Miss Nix, but some of us don't have the privileged." he was probably far out of place for saying that, but she was far too bold, just like Annabelle and Martha, in her own way. "I will come find you when I am done with my chores." he agreed with a nod.

The next week was, well, average, and a life Elliot hadn't had for a while. Wake up, eat with his sisters, work, snack, work, lunch break with his father and uncle, work, bathe, go to bed. With all the dedication to his work he finished majority of it within the first three days, so he decided to wander about the castle. The blizzard was awful, the man taking it upon himself to teach his sisters since the governess couldn't make it through the thick and tall blanket of snow. He found it enjoyable, being with them again. He did find Henry and spoke to him, carrying the eggs when Henry couldn't. The man was surely dedicated to keeping them with him at all costs. he spoke with Kashi a bit, helping the hare air out his room and freezing everything to kill the smell before forcing it to unfreeze.

Everyone was happy. Elliot had forgotten about this side of his life and enjoyed every bit of it. He even got to play in the snow and sleep the day away.

Which, after a week, is what he was doing. But this time he was in lynx form and asleep in front of a fireplace like a lazy kitten. He'd intended to wait for Leo but having played with his sister's earlier wore him out. Maybe he'd hear him arrive.

He was dead asleep, snoring lightly to himself before feeling something heavy on him. He shifted, trying to roll it off but when little baby teeth started to try and bite he gave a low noise, silver eyes opening before sniffing at the kittens. These were his. A sandpaper tongue ran across their faces before getting up and walking around them, shifting back and yawning. "Hello, boys." he murmured, lifting them and watching them shift back and wiggle. "Hm, yes it's cold out today. We should get you boys bundled warm." and gently laid back down in front of the fire while holding them, "husband come join us."

Black ears raised as the deep voice entered the room, turning happily. "tsume!" and shoved the candlebra on the shelf ready to hug the man, but stopped and catching the thing before it fell, gently placing it down. "There we go." he murmured, wiping it down with the cloth quickly before setting that down as well. "Welcome back!" and Kashi hugged his wolf happily. "How was being back home?" and looked up, eyes bright with curiosity.

The man chuckled, "When the paper is directed to me instead of my father I find it very easy to work on things. There is more work every day so I get it done in the morning and spread it out through all day. Once dinner time rolls around I stop working." He let go of the boys, letting them flail their limbs trying to crawl, not strong enough (nor balanced enough) to walk directly on their hands and feet. The man rolled onto his back to look over at the man behind him, but leo was the one who pinned him to the ground with his lips, and Elliot was all too happy to oblige, kissing back passionately before he was forced to break it, inhaling a gulp of air before giving a low growl. "I did very much.

The hare gave a happy little squeak, nuzzling his face into the leather and skin that was Tsume's chest. "I'm glad. You can't really do that here, we don't have wolves here." He looked up as the finger instructed him too, smiling and trying to hide the tremble that went from his toes o the tips of his ears. He gave a small whine at the smirk, nodding and being kissed, practically melting against the man in sudden need before pulling away, panting softly. "I'm done polishing for the day." he murmured, nuzzling at the man's neck.
