Souno walked up silently behind the spot where August was reclining and snuck around her to her side, where he slipped into the water. He smiled at her and whispered into her ear, "Hi August." She looked sad again and that made him worry. She looked so happy when she was at the dining hall and he really liked a smile on her face.

August was sitting on the side of the water, on a large rock, sollemly peering into the depths of the water. Souno's approach startled her nad she jumped, nearly falling into the water. She shivered in the cold air, sititng only in her small suit but made no atttempt to move towards the warmth of the water. "Hi." She said slightly sadly, though one may not pick up on it unless they knew her very very well.

Shino came out of the dressing room with a purple bikini on and a towel in her hand.SHe looked around as she felt the warmth of the spring against her face.She looked around and saw a girl sitting at the edge of the water sadly.That girl she looks so sad....I should talk to her.I used to feel the same way,but i may be wrong her feelin gmay be different so here I go....She walked over to the girl and sat beside her looking into the water as she was.Shino just looked at her for a moment and stared at her feet."Hello my name is Shino what is yours?"

"August." August said, still peering into the water where Souno now was. It was getting a little loud for her now, maybe she should get in. But the cold was numbing. It felt great against her nearly bare skin. She tried not to shiver, just grit her teeth and bear the sheer chill engulfing her body.

Koji looked at her in silence, not as if this was suprising to him but it was sort of strange in fact he thought it was cool. He smiled at her and tilted his head to the side thinking about something to say but could not really get anythign in his head. "So......umm...." He mumbled alittle and just descided to stop talkign all together he didnt have anythign to say so he sat back quietly int he hot water relaxing back and loookign at Ashori.

Ashori sat silently in place for a moment, staring intently at the water. Her eye and the symbol beneath it had been revealed so now he'd seen everything. She braced herself as he began to speak, actually holding her breath for a moment, but slowly released it again as he seemed to trail off. Well, at least that was better than him calling her a monster, or a freak, and then leaving forever. That had happened way too many times to her. She sighed quietly, feeling his eyes upon her, and wrapped her arms more tightly over her stomach and chest, feeling odd in her swimsuit. She very slowly looked back at him, the black hair tucked behind a pointed ear and out of the way as she watched him in complete silence, not sure what to do. She was relieved at first, but then thought it maybe hadn't set it yet or something. She wondered if he'd figured out what she was by now. Though, the wings sort of gave it away. The feathered one was still tucked behind her back and the leather other was still off to one side.

August lifted her eyes just enough to see Ashori and Koji on the opposite side of the springs. She quickly lowered them, feeling worse about herself. Why? No real reason. She just was. Beside her, a small shrub looked just noticbly less fresh, more limp. Usually the outside helped her, and she could feel it a little, but didn't let it in. Sometimes people just need to feel sad, not be comforteted in some werid abnormal way.

Max chuckled silently to himself and looked at the girl. "It's fine to miss your friends... unless she's already here." he said. He sunk lower into the water, so his torso didn't get cold. "I still miss a lot of my friends from my old school. One of them goes here too." he nodded slightly and went under quickly again, to get his hair wet again. He came up for air and looked around. The springs were becoming slightly more popular. Many more people had wandered in. He didn't mind. He smiled an cracked his neck and fingers.
"So you're from Canada... are you French-Canadian, or all English...? I know a few people from Canada..." he said. He closed his eyes and pulled out a bit of water again. Changing it's shapes again. First a ball... then a star... then a cube... a pyramid... and a snowflake. As soon as he opened his eyes, he lost concentration and it fell back into the water. He took a sigh and flipped a bit of hair back from his eyes. "How did you find Ria...? It was in the middle of a forest near where I live. But it seems to be all over the place. Like it's it's own little dimension. Away from the rest of the world." He smiled at remembering all the stories he used to read, about regular people who found just one thing that pushed them into an alternate universe... away from society. Like in The Lion, the Wich and the Wardrobe. He loved that book. Because it wasn't about people who were special. It was about people who found something by accident and were thrust into something they couldn't control. Not much like himself... during the bear attack... he shook the memory out of his mind. He needed to do something... so he made a small sculpture out of the water on top of the water. There we go It looked like the Arc de triomph. Then the Eiffel tower. And the statue of liberty. And Mt. Rushmore. It fell apart after Mt. Rushmore and he laughed as it made a big splash. Some of it landed on his face, some of it splashed towards Wendy.

Shino just smiled and looked down into the warm water."August huh?Well we all have out bad days I guess.What are you doing just sitting here anyway?"SHe pulled at the strings on her bathing suit just looking around.SHe sat on the edge and put her legs in the water she sighed at the warmth of the water."So what kind of powers do you have?"She kicked her legs in the water lightly trying to find somthing to talk about.Well Im most likely going to be bored the rest of the day,oh well maybe Ill make a new friend.I dont have many anyway so I guess that would be cool.I dont think she wants to be bothered though.

Souno frowned again as August was destracted by the other girl, he liked it in the water but he had come here just to see her and he felt terrible that he couldn't cheer her up. He slowly climbed up next to her and wrapped his arms around her, "She's so cold!" He tried to warm her up but just felt a little awkward. "Hey! Why the long face, beautiful?" He felt a little selfconcious admitting it, but he really liked August. She was just so shy, and Souno felt bad that she seemed sad.

Rivera had washed and rinsed. Her hair was pinned up high on her head with a dragon shaped clamp. A towel was wrapped snugly around her body and a smaller one was draped over her shoulders so her entire back was hidden. She had been here only once before, when she first came here. She almost lost her dragon key necklace there too... it had been quite annoying that time, so she didn't get a chance to relax. Careful not to slip, she walked down the stone steps that led into the main hotspring pool, her white towels secure around her.
The moment she immersed herself to the shoulders in the warm water, all the worries just drained from her completely. The springs were more pleasant than ever, especially after running around an alter-dimension, jumping around on bamboo poles over a lake, keeping away from Kira. It had been a very fun game of tag. She was obviously at the disadvantageous position, but that was on purpose, so Kira could learn to use his brain a little faster. Assassins required brains that functioned at the speed of light or about so. Quick thinking has saved her skin more than a dozen times. She knew how important it was to be able to think fast and puzzle things out. Oh well, no worries. With the autumn session starting, she was going to have some extra classes to take. That meant she was going to relax when she could.
"Kira-kun, the water's pretty good." She looked up to shore. "It's pretty safe to come in." Rivera cocked her head to the side... maybe customs here were different too, about public baths and such. The volcanic springs on Atlantis were usually open to everyone at any location, regardless of gender. So strange...

August slipped quickly into the water as soon as Souno touched her. Whoa... She thought, creeped out mostly. She stayed underwater until her lungs almost exploded out of the side of her, then quickly came up for air. Now, in the warm, relaxing water, she let Mother Nature overtake her and rinse away her sadness, swimming around in the deepest waters, her feet not even close to brushing the rocky surface below. In the end, she layed on her back, looking up into the cystal blue sky with a deep remorseful sigh. She could be sad later, but why waste the day?
