I can afford them just fine. I just don't want to. They misbehave and tear into each other, the furniture, the blinds, the carpet, my shoes, Jess's shoes, the walls, the desk, and any other thing that can be harmed.
I only love them 12% of the time. XD And I know that our apartment is too small for two cats. We'll probably continue to struggle with what to do with them, but I want to be rid of them so we don't have to stress about it, and they can get the hell away from each other and be happier.
And now I has sandwiches! XD Yay! Foods. <3
Apparently she and I view the subject of our cats COMPLETELY differently. stare - Naz

Quote: biggrin Sweet, I hope you have good luck with the applications! The process is such a b***h! Not only do you apply, but apparently you're supposed to annoyingly stalk them with phone calls for updates?
Which recalls my day today! The manager at my orientation said to call today at 12... so I called and she was like. "No, call back at 3 when the other manager gets here. Actually, she gets here at one but she needs a few hours to settle in so just call at 3..."
So I call at 3 to talk to the other manager and she's busy... so I call again at 3:30 and she says "The training schedule for this week is full. We'll call you next week if there is an opening." o_o It's like... wait, wtf? I thought I was already hired? Because I had a 4 hour orientation of safety videos, they gave me the stupidass vest and nametag and timecard and s**t and now I'm not going to even see a day of work for 1-2 weeks?
BULLSHIT. I knew I had a bad feeling about this place, and i feel like they're going to continue to screw me over like this. Seriously, that just seems really uncool to me. Are you really hiring that many people that the training schedule is full? Why can't you train multiple people at once?!
UGHURR.
But otherwise I had an awesome day. I met my dad at a restaurant for his lunch break and he treated me to lunch, it was nice. :3 And then 4 of my friends came over and we had Friday Night Magic at my house! And lotsa snacks and pizza! It was fun.
But uhm... yeah.

I'm glad the tag sale went without complications, Cassy. 3nodding WAS THE WEATHER ALL NICE?
XP Hotdogs are good. As are potatoes.
And, sometimes ignoring things is your only option, because there's little you can do about them at the moment; it's better to not stress out about it, instead of ending up in panic mode when you have no control. Things work out.
Where is the sink leaking from? The faucet, or the piping?
XD!!!@neighbor.
Sweet on the electric. Our gas was only $28, so I was ecstatic. XP My friggan mother - who is still staying in our office until she finds a new place - is conveniently forgetting she needs to pay her measly $100 of rent money, however, which I was going to use to pay electric (which was $80) so now I have to figure out how to ask my own mother to fork over her rent. XD We paid the minimum balance fee, though, so I guess if she doesn't want to pay it we'll still be okay.
But she makes almost $300 a week and only has $200 total in personal bills to deal with. sweatdrop Buying herself new clothes when all I ask is $150 a month is kind of.. rude?
BUT IT'S OKAY. WHATEVEH. talk2hand
Yeah, we argued, and snarled, and then compromised and cried and went to sleep. XP I love Kat, and I love our relationship. We always work things out before we go to sleep.
[blahblahaboutcats]Not to mention, we tried something new with the cats. We left the bedroom door cracked open so they could come in, and for the most part they behaved. Our biggest issue is that during the night, they LEAP up onto the blinds even when we have them pulled up, they tear into the carpet and couch (even with catnip-covered scratching boxes), they always manage to get into the trash (which I can't afford to take out every day because of trashbag costs) and they fight with each other. I'm not mad at Jack for his sex yowling, because he can't help it until we get him fixed (VERYVERY soon, poor thing) and I know he must be frustrated, but destroying our house for shits and giggles... It's hard when you're already stressed out not to put human emotions into their actions and assume they're just doing it to ******** with us. XP Like Jeordie watching me as she paws at a full glass of juice on the table, like "meow~ this is gonna spill everywhere - take that, b***h >_>"
WE WILL MAKE IT WORK. The office will be their room with toys and such when my non-rent-paying mother moves out, and we're going to build one of those cat castles ourselves.. AND IF THEY'RE STILL UNHAPPY AND ******** UP OUR s**t, WE'LL PUT AN AD IN THE PAPER FOR SOMEONE TO ADOPT THEM WHERE JEORDIE GETS MORE ATTENTION AND JACK CAN BE AN OUTSIDE KITTEH. [/blahblahaboutcats]
@Janine: You should have just said "back off or it's the shed for you, b***h!"
@Mike: Sounds like they're doing what Kat's Wal-Mart did. Hiring a bunch of people because they assume most won't make it long enough to matter. Also, so they can justify only giving people 7-15 hours a week; it's safer that way, so that there isn't any risk of employees getting enough hours to qualify for insurance.
Also, sounds like shitty management. neutral
But huzzah for pizza and Magic. <3 (Was it all BOYS? wink )
OH THAT REMINDS ME. That question I was going to ask that one day. XD It actually wasn't pervy (COMMENCE THE FREEZING OF HELL), just nosy. When you and your boyfriend watch tv, etc, do you "cuddle"? Or do you sit as you would with anyone else?

Wait wait wait . . . let's look at this again . . . Godfrey Potter-Lockhart XD I'm sorry, Janine! BUT FAIL! XD The poor, sweet golden retriever! D: OLD YELLER! NOOO!!! Godfrey Potter-Lockhart The poor, sweet golden retriever! D: OLD YELLER! NOOO!!! Godfrey Potter-Lockhart poor, sweet golden retriever IT WAS NOTHING OF THE SUCH. It was a snarling bulldog/some other giant dog/mean dog mix! IT WAS TERRIFYING AND IT CHASED ME AND I WAS SCARED crying
---
The only games I ever remember playing on Neopets were the Meerca one and the one with matching the blocks to destroy them. XD
---
Mike D: That's retarded of them. I'm sorry that they're being so difficult.
And yay, Pizza and Magic! : D
--
Ooooh, use guilt trips on your mom, Jess. Moms get to guilt trip us when we're younger, so turn the tables! ninja
Cats ARE bitches. Michelle's room has been trashed by her sister's cats (the cats have peed on her stuff!) and one cat we used to have at my house (my sister has this cat now) used to pee on all my clothes.
I hope you guys can find a good home for them if it comes to that. I know it's super hard to get cats to be adopted nowadays--Michie keeps complaining to me she can't get anyone to take a kitten these days.
Actually on the way back I didn't see the dog! I bet it did get put in the shed.
GEWD.
VERY GEWD.

So I got one of those "give me your bank information for 10mil" spam e-mails recently. I never expect decent grammar, but this is the first time one has had such shitty math:
"The fund has been dormant (in-active) for 10 years in our Bank here without any body coming for it. I want to release the fund to you as the nearest person to our deceased customer Mr. Andreas Schranner (the owner of the account) who died a long with his supposed next of kin in air car crash since on 31st July 2002."
...Did poor uncle Andreas not use his account for awhile before he died? Such a penny-pincher! (And such a tragedy - an air car crash. Uncle Andreas loved flying cars!)
I BET YOU'RE LYING AND IT WAS A POODLE. scream

XD! I lol'd at the air car crash thing.
IT WAS NOT!!!! Here in the South, we don't have poodles. POODLES ARE FOR SISSIES OR FAGGOTS OF WHICH WE HAVE NONE. stare
IT WAS A VICIOUS ATTACK DOG. talk2hand
When Kevin and I stopped at the gas station yesterday after our bike ride, I had lunch, and we overheard this guy talk about a giant turkey like seven times to everyone who came in while we were there. XD I love being Southern.

biggrin Magic night is usually all boys wherever you go, not many girls play. And half the time the ones that do play are only playing so their boyfriends have a bigger chance to get prizes. And suck with rulings and such... x_x
But when we watch TV we usually lay down together, because my room is small so it's just like my bed and TV and the same with his room. But if we watch in the living room I guess we do cuddle. Or like, lean on eachother at least. Unless it's an exciting where I usually can't sit still during those.
It's been raining here the past few days. Power went out a couple of times. I love rain. 3nodding But my friend last night left his car door open, so not only was it soaked inside but the battery was drained! sweatdrop
I wish my Dinosaur Vial would evolve faster! D:
And seriously, it is scary getting chased by a strange dog, that happens a lot around my neighborhood because people aredumb and let their dogs just roam around.
