*Huggles Kelbel* Would it help if I say I have five days off of school? oxo Homecoming is this Friday for my school. We haven't lost it -- ever. We also have the Trojan Trek, we raise money for the neonatal unit at the Moncton hospital. And one of the old harrison trimble trojans symbols was the exact one they use for the condom brand. Not to mention our motto is be safe... http://www.harrisontrimble.ca/

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in May 2008 to officially open a newly renovated family suite in The Moncton Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU). This dramatic transformation is all thanks to the fund raising efforts of the Harrison Trimble High School’s Trojan Trek, which in the fall raised $12,000 for this project. Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation Chair at that time, Barbara A. Tait, said the hospital is “extremely proud of the high school students whose extraordinary dedication to supporting our tiniest patients is to be commended.” She added that the opening marked “an important physical representation of their hard work.” According to Brenda Houser, Nurse Manager for Neonatal and Pediatrics, the renovation project was something the unit has wanted for many years and thanks to the Trojans, their dream has become a reality. “The hospital room was dreary and clinical but now it is an inviting, comfortable suite offering a much needed place of solace for family members who have a sick baby in the unit.” The money raised was spent on renovations, furniture, window dressings, a computer station, kitchenette, phone and a number of other comforts. One innovative feature is computer access to give family members a way to keep in touch with loved ones via the internet. The NNICU staff has had significant input into the changes and have heard rave reviews from those who have already used the suite. Among those on hand for the ceremony were Neonatologist Dr. Rody Canning and Perinatologist, Dr. Lynn Murphy-Kaulbeck, Harrison Trimble Student Council Advisor Dale MacLean and members of the student council. The Harrison Trimble High School’s Annual Trojan Trek fundraiser has been supporting the NNICU at The Moncton Hospital for close to 20 years.
Harrison Trimble High School became members of the President’s Circle of Friends which represents donors who have given over $100,000 since 1990.

It's more the Trojan pride than the giving. oxo There are like gangsters and everything. But we all have pride in our little c**k-block of a school owo The problem is; money raising in the rain fails. I still want to do what I can. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1DPuo4D5Rwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2R8MOoQtd8&feature=relatedLike the test said, I have a need to nurture. >x< The children in the neonatal unit are a good enough reason for me walk a couple of blocks with a raincoat. Lub ya kelbel. owo I hope the rest is useful.
