Cool... now you just need to come save me from Konoha... and these DC60 and 40 rolls that I get assigned in my missions. neutral
Seriously.. I don't know if Aruil is trying to get me to quit or what... I feel terrible.
I am level three... and I would need 40 ranks in treat injury to even begin to try and complete a DC60 check. And I would need 20 ranks in treat injury to even begin to try and complete a DC40 check.
...Who assigns a level three that kind of mission? Yes I am pissed... This is a big ******** waste of my time... because no, I don't feel like putting the mission on hold while I go gain 20 freaking levels.

Dude... because you are offline all the time when I am online... what am I supposed to think? Its hard for me to ask question, and harder to get a response.
DC rolls are not 'supposed' to be added together for treat injury, why the hell would you start now... besides just to literally piss me off?
I don't know.. I just dont know.. you could have specified that in the post if you meant that, and you 'should' have.. because it differs from normal rules. I'm tired of playing merry go round.
Why would I 'Not' get upset after seeing those DC numbers?

Are you sure you're not stacking those rolls to get a total of 60? It sounds to me like...
Post 1 roll = 9
Post 2 roll = 11
That would give you a total of 20/60... I'm sure Aruil wouldn't say you couldn't stack the rolls. As you said, it would be impossible to succeed unless you rolled a natural 20. heart
I mean, seriously, that just sounds crazy to think that would be the assignment. If I saw it, I would have thought to stack my rolls.

Less than 30 minutes from my post you go off in the guild-wide Cbox. You're right, I'm not the most active member but that's moot when you don't give any time for a response.
Have I ever said anything about 'keep rolling' before? Nope. Should have tipped you off that something was different. In fact the PM you sent was the perfect way to deal with the situation. Instead you also bring it out here in an attempt to make me look bad. I do that well enough on my own, thank you very much.
I sure as hell hope that this is a special way that you deal with things online. Because if I read correctly you're joining the military. This attitude that you display around here won't fly there.

@Draco: Just... in the future, if you have issues with something. PM someone. Preferably a Crew Member or one of the other members that you know will get a response from. I'm a good example, **While I may not know the system inside and out like I used to, I still have the jist of it**.
Or, you could post it in the Village OOC Thread. Aruil is right that you shouldn't take it to the Guild-Wide OOC thread. It's not really in good taste.
Some checks can be added together to assist in the learning process. Treat Injury, I can give you a perfect example. Using the.... Defibrulator! ^_^ .That could be like your training. Your rolls are Zapping them until they come back to life. Or it could be stitching a wound. You may not get it perfectly on your first try. Yes, while these are very specific circumstances, I'm giving you ways that you can look at the Treat Injury rolls.
@Aruil: He was stating that it was hard for him to ask you questions and hard to get a response since you two aren't on at the same times. ((And if this is how you talk to one another inside of your village, I can see why. razz ))
It could have helped to state "stack the rolls" if the norm has been consistant regular rolls. Not everyone is 100% savy to the system **myself included**.
I don't think he was trying to make you look bad, but I do think that the situation could have been handled better by both parties involved.

I know they are working on -mass banning -deleting/selling back subforums -guild custom ranks [<- This is HUGE!] -buying chatrooms from guild treasury Alas no moving subforums or mass deletion of posts, but we will see. at least. It really sounds very juicy. I think they are moving the guilds over to forum code (AT LAST GOD DAMN) so yeah heart Also, alas, Kiri also only has one girl. sad

Dude, since you are a guild captain, why don't you join the GGN Captains' Guild? It allows you to keep an eye on relevant news. They have made contact with a lead developer, Panagrammic, so there's a decent chance these things will pull through. But you must have seen those guilds with 20+ subforums that they don't even need >_> It just looks so unclassy. @3: For example say you are coordinating an event. Red vs. Blue or something. You can designate some people as Red General, Red Soldier, blablabla and then you can (ideally) make subforums visible only to Reds, Blues, everyone, etc. Or you can just have fun and make really dumb ranks like those on forums outside Gaia smile For example increasing based on post count or something. @4: You know those friend chat room things? They were thinking of moving that over to guilds as well. Of course the money spent will come from the guild treasury.
