((Ah! I'm sorry, Ty! -grovels- I've faaaaailed as an owner! ))
Tomo walked downstairs with an armload of clean hand towels and wash rags for the kitchen and smiled when he saw Nox, "Oh! Afternoon." He greeted, walking behind the bar with said armload. He put everything in their respective drawers and walked over to the bar to get a kettle of hot water started for his tea. "Doing well, I assume?"

"Well," he began, wondering if he should draw attention to his absence. "I'm doing great, now that I'm here. Do you need any help with anything? I'm here to serve, after all..." He stepped towards the bar awkwardly; he didn't really know what he was supposed to do with himself.

"Well, it's just me, right now." Tomo replied, setting the kettle on the stove. "But just as a heads up, it'll be part of your job to make sure the coffee pot's always full." He said, gesturing to the, currently empty, coffee pot. He eyed it with an absurd fondness that really couldn't be described as any particular emotion. "Feel free to help yourself to any food or drink. Most people here will offer blood as well if you ask 'em." He explained, leaning against the bar casually. "Oh! And the building watches everything we do, so please don't do anything to embarrass her... Wouldn't worry about it too much. There isn't much she hasn't seen."

Nox eyed the coffee pot warily. He'd never made any before--he hadn't even ever made tea before, and he drank it as much as he drank blood. "I'm glad to hear that blood will be redily available... But.. um.. what exactly do you mean, the building... watches us?" Nox definately wasn't the type to do anything inapropriate, but he was curous nonetheless.

Tomo shrugged, "Weeell, lately, we've been noticing she's been taking on a consciousness of her own. Especially after she saved our lives a few times. The other day, she was even able to take on a humanoid form." He explained as he stood back up to pull the screaming kettle from the stove. He poured some water into a mug and floated a tea bag on the surface. "It's kind of nice because she goes out of her way to protect us."

Nox raised his eyebrows. "Really..? That's fascinating... And it is comforting to have the building on your side... May I have a bit of tea, sir?" he added, eyeing the drink enviously.

"Very nice to have the building on our side." Tomo perked his ears, "Hmm? Oh! Of course!" he said, pulling a mug down from the cabinet. He filled it with water and floated a tea bag in it as well before handing it to Nox along with the cream and sugar after he had helped himself to it. "There you are."

((That's all right SD! I'll just pop in now I think...))
Trina entered again, looking happy about something, wearing her cloak and torso armor again. "Good morning Tomo." She said, still not having her time of day greetings down yet. "And...erm...you too sir." She said to Nox, having not seen him before.

(( *edits* didn't see your post, sorry! ))
"Ah, thank you so much. I haven't had a decent cup in over a week.. those bloody Italian vampires don't know how to treat a hostage.." he muttered darkly, letting the tea sit for a moment. "But.. what sort of danger were you in, that the building had to take physical form to help you?" He looked up at the woman who entered, smiling. "Hello, I'm Nox Umbrae, the new waiter."

((**peeks in** hallo...))
Kaen walked down the stairs, carrying a small bundle in her arms that she was constantly speaking to. When she saw Tomo, her face split into a wide grin. "Tomo, thank you so much again for your help the other day," she said, her attention returning to the wrapped up baby who had just yanked a section of her hair.

((That's alright pirate )) Trina smiled back. "I am called Trina then, nice to meet you." Her words were slightly accented with some unidentifiable language, but just barely. Her dark eyes drifted to Kaen, offering the woman a smile too before she took her usual seat at the bar.

Tomo laughed and waved to Trina, "Evening, Trina." He greeted, leaning back against the counter again. He looked back to Nox and laughed, "What trouble haven't we gotten ourselves into?' He asked rhetorically, "Well, you ought to keep an eye out for a woman named Ghost. She has a nasty habit of trying to kill us. And then there was my fiancee's ex, Victor. Not a nice man at all." He spotted Kaen and grinned at the sight of the child, "Oh, it was my pleasure, Kaen. Have you picked a name for him?"

"Oh yes...evening. Sorry Tomo. Could I have a glass of water?" She asked, since he was behind the bar. She had never encountered Ghost or Victor, but she'd heard of them.

Nox stored away the information.. Ahaaa, watch out for Ghost and ex-boyfriends. He glanced up at Kaen, then gave a small gasp of surprise. "So you had your child..? I'm glad he's doing well," Nox said, wondering if she even remembered him.

She returned Trina's smile, then released her hair from the baby's grip as she responded to Tomo. "Kai and I decided on Acher. He had suggested it when I told him I was pregnant and I like the name." Her hair finally being released, she walked to the bar and perched on a stool. A small shiver ran through her as she thought of the most recent encounter she had with Ghost.
