Oh I wouldn't worry about it, the old core of members might be growing up now, Mat being the oldest and DE being the youngest. Not everybody is 20+ around here thankfully.

Oh-kay, you are so not coming along until you are of legal age. Vikki might not give two shits about it, but I, the fall-guy of the group, do. sweatdrop

Syumerrt *face palm* Please tell my I'm not the only young teenager in this guild. ((Fifteen years old.)) I was thirteen when I founded this thing, and your typing doesn't give you away, so don't worry. whee And unless the base in the UK has a different policy, I've got 3 more years until I can actively participate in such ventures. Believe it or not, the Navy is strict as hell on underage drinking. xp

Wow...if I ever join the military...which I doubt it, considering my hearing and my fear of a bullet killing me rather then natural death, then either the Navy or National Guard it is for me, considering from what I saw at the armoury where my mother worked, if the guys there or the friends of my mom weren't working they were playing a whole bunch of xbox connected to each other playing some shooter game against each other, even oversea at Iraq they managed to do that. Of course that is voluntary, if the US government decides to do conscription again I'll be on the first boat out of the US bound for Ireland, Japan, Scotland, or Britain...even if it means stowing away on a cruise or cargo ship.

Conscription's not going to happen in any forseeable circumstances, if you want to know why, I can get into details, but believe me on it. And, I'm 90% sure that the people playing XBox were DCs, Damage Controlmen. They have a reputation for having very little to do on ship, because (of course) nothing's currently threatening our Navy. The running joke is that you have to be really good at Halo to be a DC.

Well these guys were in the National Guard with my mother, but it seems like the Navy is a more relaxed group then the National Guard considering what I saw that most fighting was over in Iraq and not at see. Though I am fascinated with aircrafts....and war, which may explain one of the reasons why I'm a big Warhammer fan. Yeah, Imperial Guards especially Gaunt's Ghosts books with all those war strategies and stuff. Though I would not want to be a marine going through that training out in the fields with live rounds that would scare the crap out of me, I would quit right then and there.
