Nah, last year's event was just as bad. They didn't explain how ANYTHING was working and that atrocity of a shooting game was the worst.

I wasn't pleased with last year either. I didn't even understand the whole shooting game until it was faaaar too late to get any of the items. I ended up having to buy a G-corp shirt (the white one, but I really wanted the black one).
But last year's ToT items were at least better looking than this year's! This year's items were fugly (except the belt). I didn't even get to get a whole set thanks to Jack giving me dupes all the time. But I don't even care. The items were so hideous, that I'm kinda glad I didn't get them all. Thought the pumpkin sheet looked kind of alright. Other than that I missed getting the hat.

Meh. I just wished I had been there last year.
Oooh! I got to see my boyfriend yesterday. He made dinner for me and my mom. (My mom joked that we should invite him over every night if he's gonna cook)

I definitely prefer the irl Halloween event I attended. At least it involved my son being extremely happy. 3nodding
I didn't like the ToT items from last year. I much prefered the zombie items. The only reason I got the black one I wanted so much was because I had a really good friend that got one for me.
I guess the slippers are okay for the Grunny event, but I really didn't like the sweater. Either way. I hope the christmas event is better. That and I'm still hoping they'll come out with easter t-shirts for Easter next year. 3nodding

Just a friendly reminder in case some of our newer members or would be have missed this rule:
Comitting GPG Fraud This rule goes somewhat hand-in-hand with the previous rule, but I felt it needed some more detailing. It is against the rules of this guild to willfully and uneccessarily decieve other members, or GPG Staff Members in anyway. What this means is, the GPG absolutley respects your right to privacy, and by no means intends to force ANYONE to reveal ANYTHING about themselves or any given situation that they would feel uncomfortable in doing so. HOWEVER, when any member goes out of their way to willfully make up "stories" for the purposes of blatant deception for their own personal gain (even if only for attention), that is wrong. It is in my opinion, that anyone caught doing so, is taking advantage of the GPG's trusting and supportive atmosphere by being intentionally deceptive, and that is a direct violation of trust. So please refrain from posting up any far-fetched, made up things that are to be taken as truth in order to get attention or donations or anything else. There are REALLY some people out there who REALLY do need REAL support, and by others posting up deceptions, it takes away from those who are REALLY in need. In short, should you decide to reveal anything about yourself to the guild, please be honest in doing so, and never post anything you don't feel comfortable posting. This rule WILL be enforced! Actions WILL be taken against anyone who is proven to be willfully deceiving the guild for personal gain (even if it's only for attention).

D's speech evaluation is today. More like lack of speech evaluation is today. I'm just hoping he's qualified for it. Wish me luck? We've got about 4 hours til the visit now.

Jack has a history of violence. ROFL
Good to see the admins have a sense of humor and don't mind roasting Gaians who behave badly during events, either. mrgreen I hope on some level they're actually embarrassed when they read the first two pages of that update.

I was pleasantly surprised about the storyline update. Tis good stuff. Not only are the Admins slammin on all the elitists, but they're also poking fun at themselves for screwing the event up.
Good stuff. Good to know that they're good humored enough to do something like this. Laff!

Heh that was a really good update. It almost makes all the crap from the H2K5 event a memory. Poor Santa, lol.

Nikolita I know this is a bit late, but I hope everything went well, Glitter. heart Thanks. It went...annoying. I don't know anymore than I did before the meeting. All I know now is that apparently I fail as a parent because some of the stuff they wanted him to know I didn't even know he had to know. They want to look at his results and see what level he's at in his age group. >_<; Makes me want a cigarette really badly and I quit like 3 years ago. I'm still hoping he's going to get into the program.
I just know he's probably getting a leapfrog between now and Christmas. I'm hoping that will help.

What's a good way to teach a toddler colors and stuff like that? I mean I'm trying to work on it now, but it seems like he ignores me half the time. >_<; I guess I'm still going through the fairly new mom stresses. It would be nice if I had a list of these supposed things that D is supposed to be doing now. It's just dumb.
