The boy stirred only slightly, feeling the warm coat being laid over him. It kept him nice and toasty, such feelings leading him deeper into sleep. Such warmth was nice, and Kaitani was close by so that kept him feeling safe. Though the ice and cold from the cave had made the ground a bit hard to sleep on, making the poor boy a tad uncomfortable which made him stir. But only slightly.

Kaya returned to the castle and went up to her room, curling up in bed to go to sleep.
Kaitani rested his head on his legs, closing his own eyes and going to sleep, as well.

After a while, the boy began to wake up. He yawned deeply and sat up, to his surprise, finding a coat of his tucked around him. He nestled into the coat before sneezing. He had slept with Kaitani right in the cave. No wonder his nose was stopped up. He must have gotten a cold! What a bummer. The wolf boy shakily got up, trying to get himself stable and inside. He needed warmth and soup.

Kaya had gotten a plate of steak for Kaitani, and when she got to the cave, she found that the little Luke was waking up. "Are you alright?" she asked, setting the plate down for Kaitani to get when he woke up.

Luke groaned softly as Kaya came back. He nodded some, rubbing one of his eyes and yawning cutely. His legs wobbled and he fell back onto his bum, leaning against Kaitani. He wished he could get cuddles. Someone very warm and kind... and... pretty...

Kaya couldn't help but giggle as Luke tried to get up, but failed. She wondered if she should pretend to not recognize him, or inquire as to why her fellow teacher was so young now...

Luke yawned again, wrapping the big coat around him as he started to drift off again. He must be really tired if he was still sleepy like this. The young wolf laid down next to Kaitani and fell back asleep. He snuffed a little in his sleep, since he was getting a little sick from sleeping out here, but he seemed to sleep fine none the less.

Kaya shook her head and smiled as Luke went back to sleep. Since it was an off day from classes, she didn't have any rush to be back to the castle. Instead, she sat down beside the dragon and the boy, putting an arm around the neck of Kaitani and starting to play with Luke's hair as he slept.

The young wolf stirred slightly, feeling his hair being played with. But it didn't seem to bother him all that much. He rolled onto his back, mumbling in his sleep some.

Kaitani yawned a little and licked Kaya's cheek, resting his head down again. "When Wolf-Man-Rescuer wakes, can you please wake me as well? I'd like to stretch my wings..."
Kaya jumped a little as Kaitani's voice cut through the silence, but she smiled at the dragon and nodded, petting his head as he fell asleep. She sat there, beside both of them, petting both of their heads.

Luke laid next to them, sleeping quietly for a few hours. But after a while, he began to wake up. The young prince yawned as he sat up, rubbing his eyes some.How long had he been asleep? What had happened? The boy was surprised to find him nestled in his own large coat. Was Kaya here?

As soon as Luke had started to wake up, Kaya had started to shake Kaitani awake. The dragon blinked sleepily at the two, then stood, shaking himself and spreading his now much larger wings. It took a running start to get him off the ground, but soon he was soaring above the clouds.

Luke looked to Kaitani as the dragon was woken up and the creature got up. His wings had gotten so big! Luke only watched as Kaitani took the the air and flew ever so gracefully. Of course Luke was proud the dragon had gotten his flight, but that took the dragon one leap closer to leaving. Luke tried not to let that affect him.

"You know, he's rather dedicated to you," Kaya pointed out, noting that Luke's expression had fallen from sleepy to sad. "A common trait of frost dragons is their attachments. They often become attached and awfully loyal to people who show them great kindness."

Luke looked to Kaya. How was she able to read him so easily?! It confused him how she was able to get into his head so easily. But he sighed some at what she said. "I know... But I never had any friends... It's not hard for me to think I'm not going to have any period. My social life is just as bad as my love life..." the ypung prince mumbled downheartedly.
