{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Ship'd}

Bobbi caught Kyla's gesture out of the corner of her eye, and offered a slight shrug with one shoulder to show she wasn't sure how they got their Zords, either. And then Kyle spoke up, and her eyes widened for a moment before she started feeling silly for not realizing sooner.

Our summons are our Zords? she thought. Shiva, are your boobs going to be my cockpit, or am I safe?

Shiva's only response was an indignant splutter and the feeling of being whacked upside the head by the ice maiden. Bobbi sent a purely mental laugh back. Outwardly, though, she relaxed. If Shiva was going to be part and parcel of her Zord, she felt safe enough getting into the thing's cockpit, and wondered how it would work. She didn't remember much of Power Rangers--in fact, most of her memories of that show tended to switch to Voltron instead--but she thought she remembered nothing was humanoid except the main mecha the combined Zords made. Whatever that thing was called. Totally not Voltron.

"Does anyone have any idea how these things are going to work?" she sent over the charms, not wanting to seem incompetent in front of the people they were supposed to be helping. These things were better than text messaging!

Demyx stuck at the back of the group still, and noticed when one of the other kids arrived a little late to the party. He saw the boy's face practically light up like a Christmas tree at mention of those Zord things, and considering the penchant these kids had for throwing themselves in danger like it was going out of style, the Melodious Nocturne edged away.

"If you kids get yourselves killed, don't come crying to me," he said as he crossed his arms over his chest. He didn't bother keeping his voice down, but didn't exactly project, either.

[Joe: Shipwreck Cove: Docks]

Joe snorted at Kyle's comments. "Yeah, you're right, and yeah, while I did guess you were joking...it's a sore spot. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly the most emotionally stable person in recent times, so me going off to think quietly? Probably going to happen often, as a heads-up...though that's kinda obvious."

With a small chuckle, the male added "But, as evidence has proven, you tend to be mildly oblivious to the obvious, so maybe you didn't guess."

[ Riku ; Seymour ; Cloud ; Grand Councilwoman : Hawaii : Alien Ship ~ Command Center ]

As one of the Rangers (John) spoke up, the Grand Councilwoman's expression seemed to darken, though his last words also left a small twitch of confusion. "I... do not know what you mean by 'Earth', but I am somewhat familiar with this world's-- Hawaii's-- history, and I can't recall any sort of Mongols. However, if what you say is true, then that does not bode very well at all."

Seymour nodded to Jon, but said nothing else as he listened to the proceedings. His face seemed contorted into deep contemplation.

"Well, if they are in fact allied with Ivan Ooze, then it's entirely likely they'll attack at once," the Councilwoman responded to the second Ranger to speak up (Kyle). "And if that's the case, then ground reinforcements would be just as helpful as air reinforcements-"

"Why?" Cloud spoke up, his eyes finally opening. He had been in the back, leaning against the wall the entire time, merely listening; he'd opened his eyes to gaze at the screen when the Councilwoman had called for their attention, but nothing more. Only now did he move from his spot, apathetic to whatever protocol was necessary. "Why are they invading? We've been subjected to fighting Ooze and his lackeys all day, but we at least know his reasons. Now we have a fleet to deal with? I'll need a better reason than 'just because'."

The Grand Councilwoman seemed mildly surprised, but as was expected of her, she regained her composure in near-record time. "I'd thought your allies on the other side would have informed you. I suppose, though, perhaps they didn't have the time..."

Once again, she messed with some controls before the four large monitors changed their image. Now, instead of recorded video, it seemed to be showing the map of Hawaii from above in black, with white grid-lines and boundaries. There were tiny specks of light dotting the perimeter of the large island, though there were a couple of spots where the specks were brighter than most: three of them were placed on the side of the mountain, two close together but on opposite sides, and the third on the opposite side of the mountain; a fourth was a distance away from the mountain, but was much closer to a cluster of smaller dots-- there was a small circle around this dot, indicating that it was their current location.

However, there was one additional beacon, brightest of all and larger than all the specks combined, in the dead center of the island volcano.

"Despite what you may think, this is not a thermal map- it is an energy grid," the Councilwoman explained. "At the center of the volcano lies a massive source of energy- apparently, it was placed there during the world merger. Some of the pirates we've captured for questioning call it 'Treasure Planet' and tell us of some pirate legend- it's supposed to be one of the greatest treasure caches in the cosmos."

"So, this is all just some... treasure hunt?" Riku asked, looking frustrated.

"I wish it were so simple. Any attempt to reach the cache has a high risk of activating the volcano, which has become somewhat unstable since the merger," she responded, nodding gravely to Riku's question. "To be blunt, attaining the treasure would almost certainly cover the entire island, both the village and Angel Grove, in magma."

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]

Dawn watched Michelle as she swam. Her lips curved slightly at the sight. At least someone was living in the moment. She spotted Jacob also in the water. She was envy of them both, at the same time she knew she couldn't join in on the fun. As much as she would normally love to swim, being a fish appealed to her less. She let out a soft sigh as she stood up and started to head inside. Dawn paused when she got to the entrance of the fort. The place was huge. If she got lost in there alone. She was always directionally challenged and prone to getting lost easily without a guided tour. (Which she didn't go on with the others.)

Dawn let out a sigh as she looked up at the twilight sky. That was where she spotted Sora looking out one of the balconies several stories up. Well at least she knew were someone was, but the problem remained getting there. She could always shout up at him maybe he would be kind enough to come down. Though Dawn didn't want to interrupt whatever he was doing just to get her. Unless...

Dawn bit her lip as she looked over the wall. Maybe she didn't need to go inside.

~'Wait... you are not going to do what I think you are going to do, are you?'~

'Well you seem to know what I am thinking, so you tell me.' Dawn said to Garuda as she took a few steps back away from the fortress. Her eyes scanning the wall. The wind already gathering around her feet.

~'....Oh crap....'~

Dawn smirked at Garuda's reaction. She used the wind as a boost to jump into the air at the fortress. She flew in the air and was able to jump onto the second floor balcony over looking the deck. Her jump and landing on the deck was enough to catch the attention of several of the pirates that were nearby. Especially the lowly pirate that happened to be on the other side of the doorway at which she landed. Dawn ignored the gasps and whispers as she took aim for her destination. It was going to be a close one.... maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

"Oh well too late to turn back now," Dawn said to herself as the wind gathered even more fiercely around her. With a stronger push than before, she leaped high in the air. Time seemed to slow for her as she soared through the air towards the railing Sora was leaning over. She was actually laughing as she flew. The adrenaline flowing through her body as the wind was blowing over her. It made her spirit feel lighter, somehow.

Though her heart felt light, she was coming short of her destination and loosing altitude. With a quick hand she was able to grab onto the railing just inches short of Sora.

"Ah!" Dawn said as she grabbed onto the railing with her second hand, she was giggling though she was hanging off the side of the railing. "Someone care to help me?"

[Cory .:. Hawaii .:. Outside the Beached Ship]

The rogue was now clearly in view of the space ship, his hands in his pockets as he looked over the vehicle. "Well, this is where the others are... I'll have to enter in a way that would label me as 'not a threat'. But first-" Cory turned to see the gathering Shadows emerge from the ground, led by a Dual Blade that seemed to stare straight through Cory's chest and at his heart. It was as though he didn't even exist as a person to the mindless creature- he was merely a source of food.

The Revblade came to the ronin's hand in a flash of blue and black fire as he fell into his regular stance; left hand forward and the Revblade slung across his shoulders. "First act of 'do-goodery': Take out these yellow-eyed bastards. Let's go."

~

The rogue rushed forward, covering the distance to the first Shadow with inhuman speed and bringing his free hand into the face of the Heartless. "Divine Pillar!" The rogue's center of gravity cannon-balled from the end of one arm to the other, building additional momentum before sending the inertia through the Heartless' face. The Shadow's head seemed to cave in on itself as more rushed in to meet Cory, only to be struck down by a horizontal Engine Force.

~

"You haven't seen anything yet!" Cory launched the Revblade at theDual Blade as a Shadow came at him from each side, grinning fiendishly as he grabbed the faces of the Heartless while watching the Dual Blade defend itself by parrying the Revblade away. "Azul." Indomitable Will blasted through the two Shadows' heads, sending them fading into the darkness. The rogue resummoned the Revblade just in time to block the Dual Blade's assault, a smile still on his face as he said, "I've been attacked so many times now that I hardly even register this as a fight! What makes these things think they stand a chance at all?!" the engine on the Revblade roared as Cory pushed against the Dual Blade's swords, snapping the Heartless' weapons in half and liberating its right half from its left.

It was then that Cory noticed the darkness descending upon him. He looked up to see the remaining Shadows falling down on top of him, his mind and body suddenly speeding up to the point that the Heartless were going in slow motion.

~

"Yeah? Oh well." The rogue suddenly vanished from sight as a glint of white light darted back and forth through the Shadows before suddenly reaching the destination Cory had appeared at. He grinned for a moment before dismissing the Revblade and sliding his hands back in his pockets, the sound of the vanishing Heartless like music to his ears. The rogue turned his attention back on the alien ship, a bored look now on his face as he said, "And now for the aliens..."

~

Cory sat down on the ground, summoning the Revblade and laying it flat before him before putting his hands behind his head. The first response anyone would receive upon leaving the ship to confront him would be two simple words, and the only French Cory knew:

"I surrender."

[Laan .:. Atlantica .:. ???]

"Chaos?"
The death knight stared at Nicholas for a moment, ignoring what he had said and simply saying, "I'll have a word with you on a later date, Chaos. For now let us shift our focus to-" It was then that Ajora began to squeal with delight in the Trident, interrupting the pseudo-Replica. "That."

Laan slowly swam to Ajora's side, staring intently at the Trident before he asked, "What exactly do you intend to do with the Trident?"

Sayrike::Shipwreck Cove

Sayrike sighed. Well, it had been a long shot. Having the dress sphere was quite a stroke of luck, and she couldn't expect everyone to have access to that sort of thing.

Looking around at the others--or, rather, the lack of them--it seemed they weren't leaving immediately. Maybe she should also take this quick break and get to know Louis a little bit better. Something seemed continually off about him, but Sayrike wasn't going to shut out or judge someone on that sort of basis. Maybe talking to him would help put her mind at ease. Although hoping to hear the results of Anthony's food query, Sayrike decided that she would most likely not find the fare to her liking. Turning to Louis, she asked, "Hey, you wanna sit down somewhere for a bit? I don't think we're leaving just yet." He looked like he was thinking deeply about something, and she hoped she wasn't interrupting him.

Soryuju Ryutetsin

"Yeah, hopefully we'll have some time to explore- it's amazing, to see all the things that go on in that city," Sora said with a grin, fondly remember his previous trips to Atlantica. "And since Ursula's already done for, we won't have to worry about anything until Ajora does his thing. If we head out soon, we should have plenty of time to prepare."

Stretching his arms out, he looked around. "You know, that's actually a good idea. Let's try and get everyone at the docks," Sora said, glancing around at those still with them before looking to Noelle. "Then we can split properly and go check in on King Triton. Sound like a plan?"

[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Tour]

Noelle nodded enthusiastically, clapping her hands together. "Yeah, lets finally get this show on the road--whaa?"

The agromancer caught a glance of Dawn, not really sure how she got up there, clinging to the balcony railing. She didn't move at first, not really sure what to do--her sudden appearance surprised Noelle. Then she realized the aeromancer was dangling over the side of the building.

"Ohh!" She exclaimed, rushing over to help. She was by no means strong enough to lift Dawn up on her own, but she grabbed on to one of the girl's wrists in case she slipped up and started to fall. "Dawn, what are you doing?!"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Ship'd}

Bobbi returned her attention to the main conversation as Cloud spoke up, and the Councilwoman responded. When the power-grid showed up on the screen and they were informed what it was, she crossed her arms over her chest and started chewing at her lip as she took this all in. There was a hell of a lot more going on here than she thought.

"Something tells me that energy source in the volcano isn't the real Treasure Planet," she said aloud. "I'd be willing to bet it was a rumor spread by Ooze to bring them here as a diversion. But what kind of energy is it? Heat is a form of energy, and pressure. If that's just the stored energy of the volcano about to erupt, those pirates are gonna be in for a big disappointment and even bigger surprise."

She sighed and shifted her stance so that most of her weight was resting on her left foot, and placed her hands on her hips as she looked around.

"I wonder if some of us shouldn't help with evacuations just in case something goes wrong..."

Demyx's attention was caught by the power grid and what the Grand Councilwoman had just said. He started to wonder if the energy sources detailed on the grid could be used to... say... re-open Kingdom Hearts. A frown of concentration creased his brow as several ideas went through his head, trying to find out what the energy could be used for, how to turn it to his advantage. Despite his laziness, getting his heart back was one of the goals on his list. Right up there with "chill out" and "have fun." He remembered that part of the Organization's plots to open Kingdom Hearts were to get their own hearts back and become whole again, but he never really paid much attention to what everyone else was saying. He had just gone along with whatever they wanted and spent the rest of the time to himself.

Was it worth exerting himself for? What if something went wrong, and he was just completely destroyed, for good this time, instead of being made whole? Survival was even higher on his list than being complete and having fun were. If he could get hold of the energy without risk to himself, and find a way to use it to get his heart back, that would be perfect, but he just couldn't figure out a way to do it. He decided to turn his attention back to the kids, see what they would do. Doing anything by himself just didn't seem like a good idea, not when there was so much risk of injury or even destruction involved.

[[Louis : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]]

The arcanist was a little out of the loop, not being able to see. With his only clues to the groups actions being noises and occasional comments. Being completely in the dark was frightening, and Ajora wasn't much of a relief, after all, his imagination was about all the replica amounted to in the end. There wasn't any wind in the cove, being surrounded by cliffs on all but one side made the docks still as death when the currents weren't flowing in the cove entrance and even then it wasn't much of a breeze when it reached the dock. It made Louis feel more dead than he already felt, but there was one relief...

Louis nodded his head toward Sayrike, squeezing her hand ever so lightly, "Just lead the way. It's not like I have much choice, besides, I'd like to sit down for a bit. I'm kinda exhausted after today's insanity."

[ Ajora : Atlantica : ??? ]

His ears had perked somewhat at Elleon's voice calling for 'sexy', but he hadn't turned around; she'd been there earlier and didn't seem to want to catch his attention before swimming off toward the throne room. However, as she said to catch something...

He quickly twisted his body around, throwing his right arm out to catch whatever it was that she'd thrown at his back. With the large sustained momentum, Ajora had to begin flourishing the weapon, going left and right, before it finally slowed down enough for him to see that it wasn't, in fact, a traitorous spear.

He gave a girlish squeak of joy. "Oh, Elle, it's what I've always wanted for the past few hours!" he said, gazing over it like he'd just gotten some new toy and he wanted to know every piece and side. "Is- is this what love feels like?"

[Elleon ~ Atlantica ~ ???]

Elleon smirked at Ajora's expressions and leered, "Oh, I can show you what love feels like . . . maybe not the emotional kind~"

The replica snaked over to the three gentleman, slinking her tail back and forth. She had the faintest idea of what Ajora wanted to do with the trident, but she wanted to hear it from his own mouth if he'd come forward with it. She doubted he'd unveil the details yet--ever the dramatic one, she was sure he wanted to let everyone enjoy the show instead of spilling the beans.

"I'm curious as well," She chuckled, "Just what are you up to?"

[Nick :: Atlantica :: ????]

Nick rolled his eyes subconsciously at Death 'wanting to talk', mimicking Chaos' obvious mood. Why do I feel a talk with another Ivalician summon is going to end in another brawl? Or me dying? Not fun at all, y'know. He thought as he took a deep breath. He eyed the new girl showing up with the trident, then watched Ajora's eyes sparkle like a shoujo anime.

To Elleon's comments on showing Ajora 'physical love', he looked away from the group for a moment and sighed. Messiahs and Death Gods and Sadists, oh f***. As for what Ajora was going to do, Nick was curious, but he doubted he would get to hear what was going to happen. He had long surmised that the Bloody Angel's host was a very tactical person, not letting everyone know the whole picture unless absolutely needed.

[ Kyle ; Sora : Shipwreck Cove : Docks ; Balcony ]

"Oh, no, not oblivious to this. But the whole 'lone-wolf-brooding' thing is totally my schtick. I've got copyright," he said, grinning more honestly than he had in a long time.

"Anyway... as long as you're at least relatively-okay," he said, turning a bit and scratching the back of his head. "I'll go get the others, since we need to get a move on. The Dutchman should be waiting nearby, if the movie is evidence, meaning the Replicas could be there at any time..."

He sighed, shaking his head. "Aaaand I depressed myself! Anyway, be back in a bit," he said, giving a light wave and smile before swimming up to the surface, passing Michelle and Jacob.

---

Sora was nodding to Noelle only for someone to shout behind him; instinctively, he turned and drew the Keyblade, aiming to cut something- only to stop just short of slicing the rail in half when he saw Dawn was holding on for dear life.

Wordlessly, he dispelled the Keyblade and went to helping Noelle bring Dawn up; luckily, he had enough strength to do so, and within moments, the Dancer was up on the balcony with the lot of them.

"Is something wrong?" he asked, worried.

[ Ajora : Atlantica : ??? ]

Ajora merely seemed to admire the Trident as some of them spoke, though his eyes did dance from the weapon to those around him every few moments. He bit his lip, seemingly trying to think something as he glanced at the Trident, now firmly in the grip of both of his hands.

"Oh, okay!" he shouted, shaking the Trident with glee as he exclaimed. "Mostly, I simply wanted to get it out of Triton's hands for tomorrow morning's assault on Atlantica. But more importantly, I'm going to use it, among other things, to obtain the Heart of Atlantis, which is just sitting under the city, waaaaiting for me."

He couldn't help but grin. 'I've got the Trident, I've got the Trident~.' "Can you imagine? Near-immortality, as well as the power to dominate entire civilizations, just waiting to be used!" he said, glancing once again at the Trident, his eyes glowing with appreciation. "The trick is getting that Kida-girl to comply, considering the Heart only attaches itself to those of royal blood, but I'll make do."

Sayrike:Shipwreck Cove

"Don't have much choice? You have plenty of choice! This is a dual operation. I'm not trying to lead you anywhere against your will, you know..." As soon as Louis mentioned being a bit exhausted, Sayrike felt the trials of the day suddenly descend upon her as well. "But you're right, today was a little insane, wasn't it? Don't tell me it's like this every day." Not for the first nor the last time, she wondered what she had fallen down into this morning. It certainly felt like something about white rabbits and grinning cats should be mentioned. And, hey, if this place was filled with stuff from Kingdom Hearts, she just might actually find that here somewhere.

Leading Louis not to far away to a makeshift log bench-thing they had passed at the start of their tour, Sayrike gently tugged on his arm, and with her other hand she knocked on the wood to at least give him a vague idea how far down he'd had to sit. "I think this is a good of a place as any. Seems relatively clear of rot and..." She glanced over to another "bench" not too far away that sported a healthy cloud of flies and gnats over what appeared to be a day-old regurgitated mix of alcohol and slop. "...other unsavories," Sayrike finished. She was a bit of a clean freak herself, and it was with much hesitation and caution that she sat down. Releasing Louis' hand so he could also seat himself, she wiped off her hands on her pants after touching the bench repeatedly with them, resisting pulling a disgusted face even if Louis couldn't see it. Ugh. Dirty. Half the time I don't even want to talk, knowing I'd get the taste of this air and mold and who-know-what inside my mouth.

With a small sigh of relief, Sayrike rested her hands across her legs and looked out at the Cove. Sure, it wasn't the epitome of hygiene, but she had to credit them with ingenuity. She muttered to herself, "But hell if I can remember the movie." This could be a disadvantage, and Louis wasn't the person to be asking. Well, there were other things she could ask him. "So, tell me in your own words, what's your story? How did you get caught up in all this...insanity? What's your home like? Which Final---I mean, what are some of your own goals out of this whole--" she gestured vaguely and expansively in front of them--"thing?" She quickly put her hand down, forgetting once again that it was kind of pointless. Damn it, I'm such a gesture-y person. I'm not going to break this habit.
