She grabbed his hand and rushed him inside. "Travis! We can get your memories back!"

Travis looked at Yuzuki and Kevin.
"Where's the kitchen? I could use it to make what I need." Kevin said.

She snagged Travis as well in her excitement. "Travis! Your memories! Aren't you happy?" She pulled them both into the kitchen.

"Y-yeah." Travis said.
Kevin opened a cabinet... and another one... and another one... then the refridgerator... "Umm, is there a reason all this is empty?" he said.

Yuzuki sighed, turning to Travis. "You never did bother stocking the fridge even after Sangre got mad..." She said mostly to herself. Yuzuki scratched her head, then turned back to Kevin sheepishly. "Um, sorry."

"The hell?"
Sangre was in the archway leading to the dining room/kitchen, a towel held to her hair from where she was trying it off. She had dunked her head underneath the sink in a bathroom to cool off from the DDR game.
She gazed at Kevin, keeping her expression carefully neutral.
"Good to see you again, I suppose," she stated calmly, danger lingering just underneath the surface. She took the towel from her hair and none-too-gently slammed it onto the dining room table, making a loud smacking sound echo though the room. "Mind me asking what you're doing here?"

Kevin sighed as he closed the fridge, "Is there a store or something nearby?"

Yuzuki turned to Sangre. "He says he can help bring Travis back his memories! And tell us why he was ..." She looked carefully at Travis, then tuned into Sangre's mind alone. Taken. She nodded to Kevin. "There's a place down the street."

Sangre stared at Kevin, her expression blank but a powerful spark of danger flaming behind her eyes.
One wrong move, and Kevin would be kissing the pavement of the street.
"I see," she replied coolly, folding the towel on the table with quick precision. "And what - dare I ask - could you make in a normal kitchen using normal ingredients that might jog an amnesic's memory?"

Yuzuki let go of Travis' hand, her excitment slowly fading, and her suspision rising again. But she just stood on the sidelines quietly.

"It's not amnesia. It's a type of micro-machine that blocks certain memories. They probably injected it sometime before you guys saved him." Kevin said.

A micromachine! Sangre thought immediately. What the hell?! Why didn't I smell it?!
Hey, don't look at me.
Like ******** I'm not looking at you! You're failing on your job!
Hey! I'm not built to sense the technology, okay? That's YOU. I'm purely based on magic and the supernatural!
Yeah, yeah, whatever. This coming from someone who's experiencing life in the 21st century.
Bah. The experiences I have with you are merely ghosts of life. As soon as I-
Don't say another. ********. Word.
Hmph. Very well then.
Sangre gazed at Kevin, leaning against the wall and crossing her arms, setting one foot up on the wall underneath her butt as she gazed at him.
"So what's your plan to stop them from blocking those memories?" She asked him. "And further more, why were those memories blocked in the first place?"
There is no way he wasn't followed. She thought with almost absolute certainty. Even if he wasn't aware of it, he was followed, all right. Yuzuki was a fool to let him in.

"There is a certain mixture that the micromachine is vulnerable to. I could probably make it." Kevin said.

Yuzuki scowled at Sangre. She didn't take kindly being called a fool. Okay so she hadn't thought it completely through, but if they could get Travis' memories back... Okay she'd been stupid, but still. She crossed her arms and pouted slightly, scowling at the floor now.

Sangre gazed at Kevin for a moment before her eyes flickered to Yuzuki. She felt a little annoyed that the other didn't even have to TRY in order to eavesdrop on things that she should've kept her nose well out of.
Then she took in a sudden, deep breath as she felt a mental wall not her own surround her, the mental image that flashed through her mind one of a wall several feet thick and many feet high, made of solid black diamond. Apparently she wasn't the only one who was tired of Yuzuki listening in.
How is she doing that? That other voice asked, their conversation muted by the wall from the outside world. It makes no sense. She can hear me, yet she can't sense me. What is going on?
I don't know. Sangre replied. I don't what's so special about her. She sighed softly. It would be best if we made the mental wall every time we speak to each other. She gave the tiniest shake of the head. Though I hate making it seem like I don't trust her...
Heh. You don't really trust anyone, do ya pup?
Shut up...
Sangre turned her gaze back to Kevin.
"What would you need?" She prompted evenly.
