Sammy sauntered in, yawning a bit. "Hiya everyone!" She had no idea why she said that, even since there was noone there. Troy and Squirt followed, Squirt clinging to Troy's torso.

Ike was confused. He had been wondering around Ilex Forest with Maddy for the last few days. The two really didn't have a destination they were shooting for. He figured they could visit Kurt in Azalea Town. They haven't done that since the Darkrai panic a few months ago. What was troubling him, though, was the fact that Jasmine was no where to be seen again. She wasn't in Olivine, and when her grandfather told Ike that she had traveled to Goldenrod, he could not find her there either. He was beginning to wonder if Maddy minded his wild-goose chase.

Maddy was walking not that far behind Ike. She was staring off into the sky, her eyes quite blank, deep in thought. She didn't mind all this walking around, it was nice and peaceful and allowed her to think more without fear of interruption. But right now she seemed troubled, something didn't seem right with her. She shrugged a bit, the medallion around her neck glinting slightly."..."

Ginji sighed. Where was everyone? Could it be that he smelled? He silently took his armpit to his nose and inhaled. Nope, it definitely wasn't that. He relaxed slightly as he waited for anyone.

Ike entered the common room, looking recovered from his injuries. On his belt were his (but at the same time not his) partner's poke balls.
"Hey...." he simply said to Ginji, not expecting the greeting or lack of one he'll get in return.
As Ike and Maddy fought their way through the rough trails of Ilex Forest, He stopped for a moment and turned around to suddenly realize the distance that was between him and Maddy.
"You ok?" he hollered back to her.

Ginji looked at the person who looked familiar, and at the same time he couldn't place the guy's face. He looked suspiciously like Ike, but it couldn't be. And it definitely wasn't Isaac... Ginji smiled as he simple said "Hey. I'm bored."

Maddy looked over at Ike and just blinked a couple times. She had become to entangled in her thoughts that nothing really made sense. "Uhmmm... what? I mean... yeah... Im ok..." She walked a bit faster to catch up and tried to put on a smile to reassure him, but her eyes were just blank and didn't suit her expression.

"...Oh." Ike said, not expecting that. Of course nothing has happened yet, which lead him to his next thought.
"There's something that needs to be done... and If I understand how all of this works... it won't matter when we go. So let's go now." he told Ginji.
Ike gave Maddy a confused look. He had been noticing her reclusive behavior over the past few days and he wasn't liking it. But what could he do? Not looking, he tripped and fell over a large root sticking out of the ground. Picking himself up, he could hear a rustle of leafs off in the distance.
"You hear something?" he asked Maddy. "Hold up."

Maddy stopped in her tracks and just listened closely to her surroundings. She heard a faint rustling in the leaves as well, and she could tell it wasn't the wind. "..."

"Cool." Ginji still smiled as he grabbed his bag. It was obviously important to whoever the person was. Let's just call him Ikey, he looks so much like Ike it's uncanny. "Where we headed off to?" he asked, butting on a Baseball Hat with the Aqua insignia on it.

Thard stood on a street corner in Goldenrod. The weather was chilly with the threat of a winter storm. However, the mere threat was not enough to keep shoppers away from the holiday sales. As the people passed by, Thard seemed to be observing the crowds, as though waiting for someone. However, he was in reality, trying to stake out the city's Game Corner for signs of the Legendary Brilliance Gang.
Standing there, a slight fragrance wafted to Thard on the breeze. It was at once unknown and yet somehow intimately familiar. The scent ignited an ancient fire in his chest. Never before had he felt a sensation like it. The heat spread quickly to his fingers and toes, and before he knew it, he was stanced for combat, one hand already to his swords.
When the scent faded, Thard noticed the peculiar looks he was getting from passers-by. He quickly drew his cloak once more and walked swiftly away. He didn't want to give away his actions so carelessly again.

"Alright" Ike said to Ginji. "We're going to Ilex Forest. We have to move qucikly" he told him. With that, Ike used the teleporter to reach the surface. He called out his (but at the same time not his) Noctowl and they're were off into the night skies.

"I thought time didn't matter..." Ginji scowled as he headed for the teleporter and into the sky, holding onto the talon of his Pidgeot before lifting himself up to sit on the Pokemon's back.
