No, because in the storyline that involves Caine in WoD, Abel is a dead ******** on the dead, metaphorical on the ******** would be OP as ********. Master of every discipline, and can supposedly create new ones as he wills.

Well, given that DeSeer junk is supposedly made out of WoD I can see why it's ******** retarded.
But even in WoD, none of them are "gods". The only "gods" that are in VtM are like, the Judeo-Christian God and to a much lesser degree, Caine.
Not so sure that's the case for the extended WoD series though, what with Changeling and all that s**t.

Going by old WoD vampires, you can get pretty close to the peasants idea of godhood with the lower generations.

My regular Rp partner is going to France for a wedding and vacation, so nothing really to do other than homework.

Caine, the 2nd generation (if any were left), and the Antediluvians (3rd generation) are pretty powerful, and being an Antediluvian would be like a borderline demigod.
But almost every Antediluvian is in a torpor and 1-3 of them have been killed. All the Second Generation is, afaik, dead, and Caine is either dead, constantly wandering, or in a torpor.
Roleplaying anything Methuselah or older is ******** crazy.

...but they aren't Gods. Even the original 12 or whatever children that Caine made, aren't by any stretch of the imagination, gods.
In WoD God is a god. God lives in Heaven, not on earth. He doesn't take a physical form ( unless you count Jesus ) and He still manages to do whatever the ******** He wants. Without any effort whatsoever, powers, character sheet, rolls, etc etc.
So, what I'm asking is... why are any vampires being worshiped as gods? The only answer would be for one of them to have a god template, and then hand down answers through prophets and avatars to the people below.
Then you fall into the trap of making a whole organization to back you and explain all your retarded s**t, like Vansin does with the VS. That's why it all seems to arbitrary and to be blunt, gay.
The correct way to RP an organization or pantheon is the way Sey does it. To have an NPC base of operations that doesn't do much, and then have your character represent them as one of their members.

But the earlier generations are all crazy anyway, something to do with the progression of the vampirism in general.
Why would you play something that powerful anyway except at a brief plot point, or event to develop a toned down character in transition?
