I'm going to be out about 10k in gold....and only about 3k of it is from the actual glitch itself! The rest was from rare events...... gonk

Scammers who took advantage of the gold-gain glitch will be banned.

Looks like they've gone through the logs, and folks who experienced a sudden massive, suspicious gold gain in the last four days are going to find Gaia a lot less accessible suddenly.

*shrug*

I dunno. The admins are known for pulling the trigger and then cleaning up their mess afterward.

Though I'm out about 10k, this rollback IS a good thing...there was a group of botters manipulating the marketplace and causing every single donation item to suddenly double and triple in price, and that's not fair.

In the end, it seems to me like the only goal of getting this much gold, hiking up prices, and then buying selling was....to get...more gold....

Yeah, doesn't make sense to me, either.

Two of my accounts had the 'gold glitch'....let me explain that. Suddenly, two of my accounts were gaining one gold for EVERY click on the site. That's pretty massive considering you usually only get one gold for about every three clicks.

Through that alone, just surfing the site, I made about 3000 gold.

Also during this time, whether because of the glitch (according to rumors), or because I was surfing so much, I received several events...two blue boxes, two pink boxes, and a pink link.

All of that, plus the regular gold I made from sponsor links and posting on my non-glitched accounts, is going to be wiped out when all of the accounts are 'reset' to where they were 4 days ago.

Forums aren't being affected. And, I believe user accounts are only being affected inventory-wise. So you'll be back to green panties.
