Kyouya looked at the group, adjusting his glasses once more. "Although... if you don't want to cook the whole time I do know another chef we could use," he said in thought. "As a host you would need to bring in some money by entertaining your designators," the Shadow King explained.

amusedandconfused Kozue listened to the chatter with mild interest and amusement, half because of what she was saying ( Note to self: check out this diner sometime), half because Sawyer had a mild accent. She must not be Japanese, Kozue decided. "Apology accepted. Sorry about acting like I was gonna keep your purse. My name's Kozue." "Kozue, It's a pleasure. And, quite frankly, if I'd been approached the same way I approached you, I would have done the same, I think." She laughed softly. "I was just so angry and tired and embarrassed from what had happened all day long that I guess I just lost my temper." She rubbed the back of her head with a haphazard smile, "It's just that I had a choir audition today that would have given me a scholarship so I wouldn't have to work as many hours at the diner to afford to go here and pay the rent on my apartment, but I missed my audition because I got caught up at work, so I kind of blew my chance to take it easy for a while. I guess I lost it, and when I realized I forgot my purse, it was kind of the icing on the cake." She thought for a moment, "And I'm sorry if I'm a little hard to understand. I'm from the US, so my Japanese might not be quite clear."

"What was going on in that room anyway?" Sawyer queried, "Was it some kind of club meeting or something? I know that wasn't the choir."

"Ouch, so you've been having one of those 'how-can-it-get-any-worse'-and-then-it-does days. Sorry." She Kozue smirked slightly. "I could tell you weren't Japanese: you have an accent. Er, it's pretty though, I'm not making fun of you...jeez, I'm no good at talking to people. I spend too much time online."

"And it was something called a Host Club. I'm not quite sure I get it either."

I just have the worst luck with time." She smiled back, "My accent is South Eastern US. I'm from Savannah, Georgia. and you're doing fine talking to me. I'm usually pretty anti-social unless I'm at work, so I have a hard time talking to people over here. Especially since I have a hard time with the language sometimes."

"I'm anti-social period," Kozue admitted, "After something bad happened a while back, I pretty much locked myself up in the internet, away from the real world. I've finished my education through homeschooling, but my servents thought I was spending too much time away from people and ganged up on me and enrolled me here. I'm actually doing better with talking to people than I thought I would." Kozue blinked. "Wow, I probably sounded like I was crazy, didn't I?"

Somehow listening to Kaoru's stomach growl made him embarrassed too. It was also interesting to see that Kaoru got flustered sometimes too.
But he didn't get something to eat?! That wasn't acceptable! He spoke with a little passion and a little scolding, "You really should take better care when it comes to nutrition! Food is essential to daily life! " He put his hands on his hips. "I'll just have to make sure you stay fed then." He then he huffed giving a bit of finality to the statement.
Hearing Kyouya's calculating tone got his attention. "I... suppose that would be a good idea. I mean... if someone did actually request me... it would give me the time..." Then it occured to him he wasn't sure of the other boy's name. "Oh, um, I am Watanuki Kimihiro." He extended a hand, and continued, "I hope we work well in the future." A bit cheezy, but at least it was polite.

Kaoru smiled shyly at that. Oh lord, someone had heard that. He normally ate well, but he hadn't done so well while his brother and him were on outs with one another. A dark red covered his cheeks. "You... really don't have to do that," he murmured, before glancing toward Kyouya. "Kyouya, since you're training Watari, how about I train Watanuki-kun? This way we have both of them ready for hosting without much problems." He then seemed to think for a moment. "Yet I'm curious, who would you get to cook when Watanuki-kun isn't? He's a great cook and it'll be hard to match his enthusiasm for it."

Kozue's hands had been moving as she spoke, they always did. They managed to find the pocket in which she'd stashed the cupcakes from earlier. Curious as to how they tasted, she took a bite... 4laugh A look of bliss covered Kozue's face. "So...good!" she said in ecstacy. "I loooooove it! Must...get...more!" Kozue ran back into the Host Club ((sorry, Cerulean Sinstress!)) and glomped Watanuki, practically tackling him into Kaoru. "You're the one who made those snacks!" she informed him, acting like a goofy little kid. "Are there any more?!"

((auugh this thread moves fast lol))
Cely finally recovered from sneaking around for shots (so many came and went so quickly) and bounced into the small crowd-- aming for the food. "Hey, who's the dude with the cupcakes?" She plucked one off and nibbled on it, staring up at the guy with big, hyper eyes. "He's cute! Where'd you find him Kaoru? I want one!"

Kaoru frowned, even as he helped steady Watanuki when he was pushed into him. "He isn't a pet, Cely. He's a friend. Watanuki-kun, this is Cely, Cely this is Watanuki Kimihiro-kun. I meet him during the Valentines event and we've become good friends since," he replied, even as he urged Watanuki a little bit away from the overly hyper girl and closer to himself.

Having been out for three days, Hikaru remembered that he had to go check in with the school office sometime that day to let them know he was back. But then, when the secretary heard his reasons for being out of school (Hikaru told them he’d been sick, it seemed to be working), she had him go to the nurse’s office to make sure he wasn’t still contagious. So it took Hikaru a while to make his way back to the Music Room and he was already a little annoyed because his mom should have taken care of all this before he came back to school – but she hadn’t. His mom had told him to take care of it when she’d called him that morning…
So he was a little shocked to enter the room and not have Kaoru call out his name, or rather Kaoru’s own nane since they were still playing the game. Instead, what Hikaru say was a twin absorbed in conversation with a few girls, Kyouya and a boy Hikaru didn’t know. He frowned a moment – Kaoru was standing awfully close to the boy, and even as he watched, his brother coaxed the strange boy closer.
Something flared up deep in Hikaru’s belly, be he managed a smile and kept his voice light and happy as he approached. “Hey Hikaru! What’s going on?” He asked happily, unaware that the name switching game was long over.

Kaoru looked up, smiling at his brother. "Hey, the game got blown while you were away, Hikaru. Watanuki-kun here called my name out and I ruined it by responding. I'm sorry," he replied, motioning for him to come over and join them.
